If you’re in the market for a new John Deere, do yourself a huge favor and ask for Allen in the sales department. He’s extremely knowledgeable and will take great care of you.

Just stopped by to get some maintenance stuff for my John Deere lawnmower, which I bought from this place. There were 4 staff working and I was the only customer in the store. The guy sitting at the door doing nothing at least greeted me. One employee was on the phone seeming like he was trying to help a customer. The other employees were busy staring at their computer screens. Looking at the various John Deere home maintenance kits it's hard to determine which one you need. Thankfully I had my phone with me which was far more helpful than the employees. I found the kit I needed and got out of there asap. Have you ever been to a business that makes you feel like they're doing you a favor by taking your money? This is it. It kind of reminds me of the obnoxious cheese steak places in Philly. Only shop there if you need to.

The people in the parts department were very helpful and provided me with the service I needed, I called ahead and they had my parts order ready when I got there. And their price beat Amazon

Do not buy equipment from this company. I have bought multiple commercial grade Stihl weed whackers and chainsaws from them and they had issues within 2 weeks 2 weed whackers and 1 chainsaw. I left them to be fixed under warranty they have had my brand new equipment for 4 months and will not refund my money. They tell me they can't get the parts but they have the same products new on the shelf and refuse to take the parts of them to fix my brand new tools. I have spent over 6k on equipment here. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. If you need equipment buy at lowthers in Delanco.

There are many 1 star reviews for this business and I understand why. Their service department wanted to take a hard line stance about pickup and delivery fees for my zero turn John Deere because I had just missed the window of time where it was free. The base quote for service was $325 with parts being extra, and they would reasonably get 10-15 years of working on it from me as a customer. JD parts are not cheap, either. I explained I couldn't get it there myself for service as I'm on disability from cancer issues. If they'd pass on thousands of dollars of business because they want to have a hard on about a delivery fee when I live five minutes away, I can take my business elsewhere. I could understand if there was a cost of goods increase that they need to pass on to the customer, but when they are giving it to many customers and not others, it seems like a foolish way to conduct business.
Edit: The store replied on here saying they would reach out and make it right, and that was over a month ago. They did not reach out or take any action to rectify this, so don't let their faux professional responses fool you into thinking that they are doing the right thing.

I purchased my JD tractor at this location in 2015. I have always gone there for parts but never needed service. Recently I needed a traction drive belt, tensioner and pulleys. I decided to have the machine serviced here. They picked it up and returned it to me a week later. Total $613.62. As soon as I started it I knew there was something wrong. It was shaking violently. I thought maybe it would “break in” but the shaking only got worse. I immediately called the service department. No answer on multiple occasions. I left a message. No response. Since I needed something to cut my lawn I finally called another dealer. They picked the tractor up and had it for another week. When they gave it back to me it’s now running smoothly. Another $327.40. As it turns out during the original service in Columbus the main traction pulley on the engine driveshaft had been installed upside down. This caused the PTO clutch to be loose which caused the excessive shaking. The traction pulley had been “forced” so the engine had to be loosened from the frame to get it off. I sent an email to CJE stating my displeasure and again received no response. I will never do business here again.

I purchased an E130 lawn tractor a few years ago. This week, the mower would start, but if I attempted to engaged the blades, it would stall. After discussing this with Chris in the service department, and eliminating a few other things he asked me to do while we were on the phone, he strongly suggested I focus on the connector attached underneath the seat. I had unattached it a couple of weeks ago, (yes, I know, my bad), so I reattached it and my problem was solved. I appreciated the time Chris spent patiently listening and helping me. It was GREATLY appreciated.

Great place for brand new equipment. I’ve purchased a snow blower and a hedge trimmer from this place and i’m completely satisfied. I will continue to do business with this place for sure as I continue to build my landscaping business. The staff that I did meet were great and very informative. I personally worked with Steve Haines twice and will more than likely check for him the next time I go back as well.

But a writing lawn mower here we're supposed to be there in a month, every month thereafter for 5 months I kept phoning them back they never contacted me finally got my mower 5 months later not happy with their service
