“The SMELL!!! When you walk through the door this nutty Smokey aroma cuddles your olfactory sense and warms your soul as you walk through the two aisles jam packed with delicious foods. I was immediately greeted by Adolfo and he was able to help me find what I had been looking for at another shop, lamb sausage called Merguez that has hirassa seasoning. Bon, the woman behind the counter, also helped me find some more sausages to try. I was given a small piece of smoked sausage to try that was made in house. I will 100% sure to return. I also bought 2 jars of mustard because you need good quality German mustard with the sausages.
Next time I try the bacon and the duck sausage!”

“Great system, you get there and register in. 5 to 10 min wait and you get a message to come in. Butcher shows you the meats with pictures and you choose whatever you want. Saved a lot of money but I have not used any yet so I dont know about the quality yet, it looks good but I don't know yet.”
“My God. Every once in a while when I'm in the neighborhood I'll stop by and pick up something. I wanted some beans I didn't know what type of meat to put in it. I stopped here the day before and picked up a link just one but saw in the corner of my eye Hammocks didn't purchase it, I said when I'm in the neighborhood again I'll pick it up. That was the next day. Talking about meaty I put it in some beans and I'm cooking it right now.”

There are few places which a near to where we live but the quality of Shalimar Meat is beyond all the others! Clean, fresh and cut in perfect portion sizes. They have all the other meats too like Beef and chicken. Chicken is very fresh and tender too.
You can order over the phone to save time, they will have your package ready before you arrive. They accept credit card and cash both.”

“Now that I just finished inhaling this entire thing, it’s time to get this verbal vomit out on paper.
What started as a simple trip to the dry cleaners in Woodrow Plaza took a hard left after I picked up my clothes and stopped into Supreme Meats for this absolute behemoth.
I frequent Supreme Meats in the summertime for their barbecue package (phenomenal, by the way). Or if I’m making Sunday sauce and need fresh mozzarella, marinated mushrooms, or some proper Italian bread. Their products are always spot on.
But one day I decided to pivot to the deli counter and order a chicken cutlet hero… and man, was I impressed.
I’m convinced they’re using Bell & Evans chicken cutlets. I’m not sure how they fry them, but they are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Not those nonsense deli cutlets where you feel like you’re chewing on rubber.
I’ve ordered this sandwich in several different variations and somehow it’s always $12. I don’t know how they’re doing it, but it’s one hell of a value. This thing is huge. I’m not sure the pictures even do it justice. When they hand it to me, I want to tuck it under my arm, stiff-arm the person in front of me, and go barreling out the door like Joe Namath. I can’t get home fast enough to eat it.
It’s way too much for one person… but I’m a savage, and honestly, it’s worth the stomachache afterward.
The guys behind the counter are artists. The sandwich doesn’t fall apart. It’s built properly. You can tell they actually care about what they’re doing.
This time around I went with fried chicken cutlet, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I should’ve told them to throw some oil and vinegar on there… but there’s always next time.”
“It's small but has a great variety of Russian, Ukrainian & Polish food like kielbasi, sausages, home made salads, sauerkraut, pickles, etc. The staff is very nice and friendly. I used to live in Brooklyn and miss authentic Russian food and bought a little bit of everything. And it all was delicious!”
