“I have been going to nothing new thrift shop for several years, from their first locations to their latest location. Through the years, I have always dealt with the owner Jodi, who is an absolute ANGEL. Her staff are all wonderful as well. Dina, Nella & Faith are simply AMAZING. They are friendly, personable, helpful, and accommodating. When you walk into nothing new thrift shop, you’re not just going there to buy secondhand, it’s like catching up with friends. You’re always greeted with a smile and they genuinely seem happy to see you. I will be a customer there for the rest of my life.”

“Googled thrift stores this one was in walking distance from where I was staying. It's definitely a cute little corner store.. clean small/compact. Owner was friendly. Items were reasonably priced. A lot of them items were reminded me of pieces older ladies might wear, didn't see too many things I felt were trendy. Owner did advise they get new items in often, definitely gotta pop back when I'm in town again & give it another try.”

“This is a great place if you are looking for used clothes or household items. Great deal for a variety of books, only ~$1 depending on hard or soft cover. Also has a nice selection of seasonal items like beach/pool toys and bathing suits in the summer. Sometimes they have large baby items like cribs, but they have a room with baby clothes upstairs.”

“I love coming to the Salvation Army because their prices are very affordable, specially in the Zara section because they usually have 60% discount in everything from the original price… the store closes at 5:00pm but the only problem is that the ladies who work in the store start closing and screaming that the store will be close in 10 minutes (4:15pm) which is very annoying. I understand that they need to be close at 5 but they shouldn’t be saying that out loud when is not the time yet.The workers there are super nice and sweet, I just wish they wouldn’t start closing the store 1 hour prior to the actual closing time.Store is a little messy but you always done treasures there!”

“I love this place! I’m a big guy and have a lot of trouble finding clothes that fit well, here they stock all sizes I’m never disappointed and all the clothes are in great condition, they offer brand new items as well and a bunch of kids clothing”

“This small store is well run and easy to find. Plenty of goodies to be found inside, including designer labels and unique trinkets. The volunteers are so friendly and know the store like the back of their hand. How do they fit so much into this space? Added bonus: proceeds go to much-valued volunteer services in the region ($40,000 last year) .. so your retail therapy will really help the community!”

“Great thrift shop !Friendly ladies working the registers and location. Checkout process could be a lot quicker but hey they have old school techniques, you have to have some level of patience when you stop here ! In terms of what you find, it can be a hit or miss. They a bit of everything here in the locationMen's section is stocked and the button up dress shirts are usually dry cleaned and presented well. Bric-à-brac selection is always fantastic and they have a decent selection of frames and glassware. Parking is fantastic and NEVER an issue. (free parking) They don't have too much selection in terms of footwear but in generally they have some nice half-off sales from time to time.Convenient location and hours of operation are reasonable.there is a thrift store across the street but it's much more of a mess and NOWHERE as organized tbh. I'll be back here for sure !”

“I was in the union location last Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see a manager. It's refreshing to have a manager upfront supporting the customer and employees. I never saw the other manager Maria, i only heard the staff calling her and noone coming. They haven't had a real front end manager since Al left!”

“If you are looking for a good bargain in new and almost new clothing, this place is for you. Their selection changes by the minute because they are always bringing more from the back. I never get enough of it. I wish it was closer to my house. The store is clean, MAYBE might need a bit of more organization in terms of sizes but other than that can't complain. Sometimes we go to regular retailers and the same happens so if you come, be ready to dig in and spend a good time in the hunt! But the best of all, enjoy it.”

“The selection here is unbelievable. My husband and I spent two hours browsing the assortment of quality new-enough and vintage clothes, before we even looked at the variety of baby stuff, which is what we came for.The price is right, too. It’s not expensive like how Goodwill and Salvation Army have become. If games, toys, and gifts for kids is what you’re looking for, come here first. I saw large and intricate dollhouses, multiple rocking ponies, soooo many huge and adorable plushies, and of course an assortment of bouncy balls. They have essentially a wall of board games. If you have been to the Unique in Union City and left disappointed, know that the Elizabeth location is totally different.”

“Soooo as I see on Google they close at 6pm, I still tried to test my faith by going to drop off my donations by 5:55pm and they were still accepting donations ? then the best part was I didn’t have to speak to anyone just drop it into a room and go (I’m an introvert so this works out well). Overall my experience was stress free and this is now my go to place for donations.Btw: I do believe the reviews stated about employees being rude because after I dropped off my donation I pulled up to the end of the driveway to gather myself and set up my gps which took less than 5 minutes, and the employee ran all the way from inside to chase me out the driveway yelling “get out” I looked up to see if there were any cars behind me- NONE. So, What’s the rush? It’s like they go out their way to be rude, because that was unnecessary. I leave and he literally goes back Inside so it’s not even like he needed that spot for anything. Though I didn’t let that ruin my mood/day because some people are just unhappy and choose to take their anger out any chance they get. I’ll still donate again.”
