“While traveling to Cape May for a long weekend, the CV axle on my car broke in half. We were about 100 ,mile away from home and at the time our only option was to have the car towed home to PA and forget about the weekend plans. I was able to find Kingsman Transmissions (Bob) via a google search. I called and described the problem to him. He told me he could get the part and fix the car quickly. Fortunately for me, the car broke down about 1 mile from his shop on Rt 55 in NJ. l and was able to drive my car to his shop. I dropped the car off on Thursday at 11am and by 10 am the next day, the car was repaired and ready to be picked up. He had promised that he would have the car ready to go in less than 24 hours and he delivered on that promise. In addition, the price he quoted was very close to the price I paid. He provided quality work and provided a warranty for his work. He save our weekend. I appreciated his ability to prioritize my car and get it fix in such a short time. It totally exceeded my expectations. He came off to me as very genuine, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone that has any problems with their car and for anyone seeking routine maintenance. I only wish I lived closer to be able to make him my guy :)”

After some emails, survey responses, and a little bit of phone tag Ray the service manager finally made this right and replaced the rotors with upgraded rotors. He also arranged a loaner car so that I could have the work done and still get to work.
While I don't believe the measures taken to resolve this should have been necessary, it still stands that Ray went out of his way to make sure it was resolved, and resolved to my satisfaction.
The dealership did everything in their power to refuse to warranty rotors that were installed there and have been an issue ever since. Bought the 2016 equinox there in 2019. In Nov 2022 I brought it in for warped rotors and had an entire break job done. In August of 2023 I had to bring it back because with less than 5,000 miles on them the rotors were warped again. They turned the rotors down as the solve. Now here we are in July of 2024, approximately same mileage and they are warped again. This time they blamed it on letting the car sit too much because I "don't drive far enough" and made me pay $95 to "clean corrossion". The rotors are still warped and the brakes still shudder and they absolutely refuse to do anything about it. They claim they are chevy oem rotors with a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty, and it seems to me they are trying to push me past that warranty so they don't have to solve the issue. They also returned my vehicle to me after oil change and tire rotation with grossly mismatched tire pressure on the front (34 on left and 29 on right).”

“We took our 2024 Silverado to Rulyn's for damage caused by a deer. The initial insurance claim was estimated by photos we had submitted to Geico online. Needless to say the damage was more extensive than you could see in the photos. We thought we might get stuck with the original insurance settlement and would have to pay the difference, or we might be in for a fight with the insurance company. Not so! Rulyn's is used to dealing with this and just put in a supplement with our insurance company. We wanted to put this out there because in NJ you are not required to use your insurance company's recommended body shop. So if you look at their list and don't see anyone you're familiar with and like, do yourself a favor and go to Rulyn's Garage. Kate, Rudy and Dave were fantastic to deal with. The body work was excellent with a great color match and the work was completed ahead of schedule. We couldn't ask for a better experience! Many thanks to everyone involved in the whole process.”
