“We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!”
“Myself and my family have taken our cats to Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital and always have received such amazing care. Recently, I had a kitten who ultimately was very sickly and did not make it but the vets at Sleepy Hollow handled the situation with extreme care and respect. While my kittens final care was handled by a recommended specialist, the vets at Sleepy Hollow personally called me to offer condolences, send me a card, and made a donation to Cornell University's animal science program in her honor. All of their efforts were above and beyond the level of kindness I ever anticipated and I would recommend their services to anyone who wants a vet that is doing this for the right reason.”

“- Excellent doctors (recommend Dr. Bassman), excellent techs, excellent front office staff, excellent management. No exceptions, which is rare.
- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.
After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.
It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.
If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.

“Our dog, Niklaus, was a patient of Dr. Fisher’s until we moved 3 hours away, and we cannot find a vet who can hold a candle to Dr. Fisher and his staff! From the time you step into the office, you know that your fur baby is being well-cared for. The lovely women at the front desk are so patient on the phone and make the check-in process much less stressful, especially for dogs with high anxiety like ours. Mike, the vet tech, and Dr. Fisher get right on the floor to ease your pup’s fears, and handle your fur baby with such care and compassion. Dr. Fisher is knowledgeable not just in traditional western medicine, but he also explores eastern and holistic routes to treat the cause of the issue. Going to the vet is not a pleasant experience for any animal, but Dr. Fisher’s way of approaching our pup with such care and tenderness helped to lessen his anxiety and make the process less stressful for both Niklaus and us. Dr. Fisher and his team are angels, and the world needs more people like this! You can’t go wrong with Hillsdale Animal Hospital!”
“I want to thank all the staff and especially doctor Christine Asgar for being very professional, compassionate and kind. Our dog Max always got an excellent care. Unfortunately he succumbed to untreatable cancer. Doctor Asgar always called personality to ask how he was doing, and called personally to express her condolences. We got a handwritten sympathy card in mail from all the staff, and it means a lot to dog owners to get that kind of attention.”

“Dr. Frezzo is truly exceptional. She is Snoopy’s veterinarian and has saved his life three times. My dog has a rare autoimmune disorder, went blind at a young age, had an eye removed, and has had multiple emergencies — including life-threatening ones. Through it all, Dr. Frezzo has cared for him as if he were her own. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, easy to understand, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. She even supports my Spanish-speaking parents, which means so much to our family. She has been available with guidance even when her office was closed and we were at another hospital. Snoopy is alive because of her. I can’t recommend Dr. Frezzo enough. ??”
“My kitten Amara was seen by Morgan (VA) and Dr. Tuttman.
Pros: The front staff is friendly and assists with any questions. The waiting time is reasonable. Morgan (VA) and Dr. Tuttman is professional, caring, and patient. They showed a lot of love to my kitten and shared a lot of information. Dr. Tuttman went above and beyond by teaching me how to cut Amara's nails, provided clear instructions on her medicine, and answered all my questions. I also received an email summary after the visit.
Cons: The package prices that cover more than 1 visit could be better. The company can provide better prices. I can afford the cost with 1 kitten, but it would not be the same for people who have more than 1 animal.”

“Dr. Muller is exactly the vet you need for your pet. She is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. She never tries to give us unnecessary vaccinations or treatments. My dog is 14 and has arthritis. She gets monthly shots that significantly improved her mobility. Every month we go for the shot and nails. I'm very grateful I don't need to give my dog tranquilizer anymore since Dr. Muller is so efficient and fast with the shot and the nails. Wonderful staff there. Everyone is kind and professional. However this clinic is always full. Must set an appointment in advanced if you don't want to wait. Highly recommended!”
