“Louie had an encounter with a raccoon, so I took him to the vet. We met our new veterinarian and vet tech, and Louie was surprisingly calm and comfortable throughout the visit. It was a great experience! The new office is beautiful, too. I can’t complain about the prices because vet care seems to be expensive everywhere, although the office visit fee did go up. 🐾❤”

“Myself and my family have taken our cats to Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital and always have received such amazing care. Recently, I had a kitten who ultimately was very sickly and did not make it but the vets at Sleepy Hollow handled the situation with extreme care and respect. While my kittens final care was handled by a recommended specialist, the vets at Sleepy Hollow personally called me to offer condolences, send me a card, and made a donation to Cornell University's animal science program in her honor. All of their efforts were above and beyond the level of kindness I ever anticipated and I would recommend their services to anyone who wants a vet that is doing this for the right reason.”

- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.

- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.
After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.
It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.
If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.

“Our dog, Niklaus, was a patient of Dr. Fisher’s until we moved 3 hours away, and we cannot find a vet who can hold a candle to Dr. Fisher and his staff! From the time you step into the office, you know that your fur baby is being well-cared for. The lovely women at the front desk are so patient on the phone and make the check-in process much less stressful, especially for dogs with high anxiety like ours. Mike, the vet tech, and Dr. Fisher get right on the floor to ease your pup’s fears, and handle your fur baby with such care and compassion. Dr. Fisher is knowledgeable not just in traditional western medicine, but he also explores eastern and holistic routes to treat the cause of the issue. Going to the vet is not a pleasant experience for any animal, but Dr. Fisher’s way of approaching our pup with such care and tenderness helped to lessen his anxiety and make the process less stressful for both Niklaus and us. “I have a French Bulldog. French Bulldogs are kind of like the Range Rover of the dog world—they’re something of a status symbol despite a reputation of having a design that is not terribly robust. They are overpriced, high maintenance, and expensive to fix. If you were to add up the number of vets, specialists, and surgeons my 6.5 year-old Frenchie has seen, the number would be in the double digits, including a Bulldog breed specialist in Orange County, CA. I offer this to you as context; when I say Dr. Glennon at New Bridge Veterinary Practice sets the standard for veterinary care, it is not without numerous relative comparisons. Dr. Glennon has provided better dermatological care than the board certified dermatologist with the fancy office who charges 3 times as much. She’s handled post operative care for complications from a surgery that she did not perform. She’s cleaned teeth, performed skin biopsies and called in prescriptions on holidays. I’ve left her office after an extensive visit, and she’s called me later that night (after hours) with another treatment option she had thought of since we had left. I could talk ad nauseam about her experience and technical proficiency (both of which are vast), but what really sets Dr. Glennon apart from other vets is how much she cares. I truly get the feeling that she treats my dog the way she would one of her own. And for what its worth, she provided the same care for my wife’s family dog, who was not a cute, friendly French Bulldog, but a monster of a Shiba Inu who never met a vet he didn’t want to bite. She showed him a level of compassion, patience and understanding that quite frankly he did not deserve. That’s just who Dr. Glennon is. One time she got on the ground, grabbed the sides of my dog's face, and kissed him right on the mouth, for no particular reason. In summation, if you’ve made it this far into my rambling review and you still have reservations—don’t… you can’t go wrong with Dr. G. I plan on having dogs until the day I die, and I know they will be in the best hands possible, until the day that she retires.”

“Dr. Frezzo is truly exceptional. She is Snoopy’s veterinarian and has saved his life three times. My dog has a rare autoimmune disorder, went blind at a young age, had an eye removed, and has had multiple emergencies — including life-threatening ones. Through it all, Dr. Frezzo has cared for him as if he were her own. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, easy to understand, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. She even supports my Spanish-speaking parents, which means so much to our family. She has been available with guidance even when her office was closed and we were at another hospital. Snoopy is alive because of her. I can’t recommend Dr. Frezzo enough. ??”

Pros: The front staff is friendly and assists with any questions. The waiting time is reasonable. Morgan (VA) and Dr. Tuttman is professional, caring, and patient. They showed a lot of love to my kitten and shared a lot of information. Dr. Tuttman went above and beyond by teaching me how to cut Amara's nails, provided clear instructions on her medicine, and answered all my questions. I also received an email summary after the visit.
Cons: The package prices that cover more than 1 visit could be better. The company can provide better prices. I can afford the cost with 1 kitten, but it would not be the same for people who have more than 1 animal.”
