I needed like eight bolts for my grandson's toy and two nuts I went in here and the guy charged me $28 for this little bag of bolts I brought them back the following week and said that I wanted cheaper ones and he said to the other person working the story that he just raised the prices I went to Schaefer bolt supply in Dover regardless to say I got my money back from Ace hardware and the guy was very rude to me I think he was the owner I'm not sure but I went to Schaefer bolts and bought everything for a dollar $1.45 talk about price gouging I will never go back to that place it was absolutely disgusting the price that he charges for nuts and bolts ! Extreme price gouging at its best

My office building had a partial power outage and lost lighting in many offices. While I was too busy to run over to the store for some temporary work lights, I made a call to Ace. Not only did they have several lights and extension cords in stock, Mitch and the team had them delivered in mere minutes. Needless to say, this is just one of many reasons why we have been using Anchor Ace for several years. They always save the day!

Bought a 36 Weber Rust Resistance Griddle on July 5th. Mitch was awesome showed me several options. The grill was delivered the same day less than 3 hours after I purchased it. You can’t beat that on a holiday weekend free assembly and delivery in the same day. Awesome will shop again for sure

I bought a Weber gas grill on line, the week prior to Memorial Day weekend and requested it be assembled and delivered at their convenience. Two days later, Josh arrived, introduced himself, shook my hand and proceeded to carry the grill up onto the deck, positioned it, explained all the working parts, how to safely clean it and connected my propane tank. I can’t express enough, the kindness and patience Josh showed in every aspect of our interaction. He is a stellar representative of the Ace Hardware Denville family and I will not only count on them as my go to hardware store, but will, without hesitation give the highest recommendations!
As a follow up, I was back in the store a week later to exchange a propane tank and the continued top notch customer service continued with AJ, who handled the exchange of an old weathered tank without hesitation and with kindness and reassurance that the tank was perfectly acceptable to exchange.
All in all a complete pleasure to do business with, for needs of all kinds - thank you, Ace Hardware Denville!

I came in to return an item this morning without a receipt expecting a little difficulty in returning it. They did not give me any hard times at all and there were some technical difficulties returning it and I offered to just drop it but they insisted on figuring it out and I got my refund. Good people. Good workers. Even better service. Also good prices too.

I discovered this gem when my go-to place in the same town sold to new folks and my experience after that wasn't good. What a stroke of luck! Their two floors of goods are are deeply stocked but easily navigated and you will find no better customer service ANYWHERE. I am always greeted immediately and offered assistance and that assistance is ALWAYS outstanding. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient - and if one associate doesn't know the answer he radios another and gets it. BOOM!
