I felt compelled to write my horrible experience at Dollar tree today. I purchased two greeting cards and stood in line (2nd in line). The cashier was a younger male and had his hoodie pulled over his head. I noted that he was very rude to the older folks in front of me. When it came time for me to cash out, he swiped, my two greeting cards (less than three dollars), and I placed my three dollars in singles in front of him as he was doing something further at the register. When I placed the money on the counter, he stated “oh I guess we don’t hand people cash anymore, so don’t be surprised when I hand back the change and put it on the counter”. He was extremely rude and that was certainly no way to treat a customer.
He did in fact, put the change on the counter for me to swipe off. I proceeded outside where I saw the store manager and I told him what just occurred. He stated, “he was probably just kidding”. I told him no he wasn’t and that he was very rude to the customers in front of me as well.
The manager at the very least should demand he take off his hoodie and be respectful to customers. Management should watch this employee and note how rude and disrespectful he is. I understand it is probably a minimal wage job. However, there still must be good customer service and respect. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back to the store.

Terrible service waiting in line like everyone else but cuz im getting balloon im getting cut in line and helping everyone else after me in line.... whats point of line if ur cutting me... in order of line help people

Still resembles the old FoodTown of my childhood! Kind people work there. It's a really good version of these dollar stores that are all over now.

Great store! I love the staff! Craig, the manager, was fantastic, even when some crazy lady was unbelievably rude and aggressively inappropriate. Craig maintained his professionalism the entire time. I wouldn't shop anywhere else

Personally, I had a great experience with this store. The prices are obviously good, but my real positive experience was with the staff. I had an unusual item I needed to find and they were so much more helpful than I would have expected. They made a return customer out of me.

Manager name is Craig, yes who runs the store he is very confrontational to the shoppers disrespectful he accused me of yelling at him and nothing like that happened he kept on and on saying you yelled at me and I’m a Human being I said I did no such thing but he kept on and on. While the line was getting longer and longer The other cashier kept making facial expressions at me. I felt disrespected on all levels this is a store I don’t ever want to go back to, so should I let him stop me from shopping there bc it’s one my favorite dollar tree to shop in I do feel that he should not be the manager maybe have some training on customers rights He also smell like a month old cigarette

I never been so humiliated in my life, because I’m with my kid and some staff who works here wants to yell my kid. No way, so disrespectful, a person who works in costumer service and had nothing of that. My kid all the time was with me by my side. I felt horrible, be careful with your kids. This tall blonde guy is rude. You can confirm with the cameras.

Manager was very confrontational and rude. He verbally attacked me about a conversation I had with his cashier, (Debbie) after hearing the tail end of our conversation. He had no idea how our conversation started (not a complaint, but a conversation) and jumped all over me yelling I shouldn’t discuss my “complaint” with his cashier. All in front of 3 customers in line behind me. Rude, unprofessional, confrontational and defensive. Won’t be back.

I love this Dollar Tree because it is well-stocked and clean. But my experience with the guy with earrings has not been great. He is snarky and makes you feel like you are an idiot. If he says something once and you ask about it again or do not do exactly as he instructed, he says words like "like I said..." "That's not what I said".. I might never go back here. I am truly sad about that because I loved this location! Kindness and Patience is so important to customer service.
