I recently purchased a vehicle from Mainline Auto Sales in Deptford, NJ, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. For the past month and a half, I had been shopping around with different dealerships, including Carvana and five others, and each one left me disappointed. Most refused to give me a true out-the-door price, tried to sneak in extra fees, or wasted hours of my time — I even missed family dinners because of how long those visits dragged on.
From the very beginning, Mainline was different. I called at 8 AM about a listing I was interested in, not realizing they didn’t even open until later, but Steve still picked up the phone and took the time to answer my questions. That alone spoke volumes about their respect for customers’ time.
When I arrived, the process was straightforward, honest, and efficient. There were no hidden fees, no unnecessary pressure, and no games. Everything matched what was advertised online, and the final out-the-door price was exactly what I was told it would be. They respected my time, respected my budget, and treated me with genuine professionalism.
This dealership deserves recognition because in an industry where so many places give customers the runaround, Mainline Auto stands out as a business that does things the right way. If you want honesty, respect, and a smooth car-buying experience, this is where you should go.

CAUTION !!!! dealer is not to be trust. They engage in bait and switch!!!
I went to this car dealer to purchase a car and they play unfairly with me. We arrange a price and I drove all the way from Maryland to New Jersey, one of their employee give the keys to test the car. But when I comeback from testing, another man who claimed to be the owner said the car was sold and the the only way to get it was to pay $5,000 on top the initial price. I was disappointed. It is very wrong to treat people this way. This dealer is DEFINITELY NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

These people are not honest when selling cars , my buddy bought a car from this place , they took advantage of him they sold a car that was in 2 major accidents , if u want to buy a car go to a real dealership not these family so called dealerships , my friend spent his life savings buying that car , stay away from these thugs , they kept deleting my friends negative review , so that's why I posted this review to let people know that this dealership is garbage that was fraud what they did to my friend

We bought a Nissan Rogue a few months ago, the very next day both of my key fabs were dead I called and they said oh well! Now my key fab battery died again and my car won’t start. I had to jumpstart my car! My husband calls again and asks if this car has a new battery. The response from Antonio; was we don’t check batteries in our cars here, or put new batteries in or else he would go out of business he said we just make sure it runs?!! He refused to even look at it! So I would think twice about this car dealership. As soon as you walk out the door they don’t care! Ps: do a deep dive on the reviews here it’s tells the story perfectly! What needs to happen is reimbursement for 4 key batteries and a new battery for my car!

I was pre approved for an auto loan and called various dealerships for an SUV. Thankfully Gene answered the phone. We discussed budget, and my SUV criteria. I came in the next day, looked thru the lot, and after spending time looking at each SUV, he realized he had the perfect one across the bridge at the Nj location and brought it over. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I drove out with an amazing SUV within my budget. Great selection, never felt pressured, highly recommend.

Steve from mainline auto is one of the most down to earth individuals I’ve ever met ! My car buying experience couldn’t have been any easier . I came in looking to buy a 2022 dodge Durango . I called ahead , had my bank info ready , mentioned to Steve I’ll be coming in to get this vehicle and if it was still available . Steve was very professional , never met me a day in his life, didn’t owe me any truth. I was straight forward , he listened to everything I said while giving me positive feedback on what I already knew from my own research . He never once forced anything on me or tried to change my mind , what you see is what you get ! . I asked the test drive the vehicle before purchasing and he gave me the keys to test drive ALONE. I left for 20 mins , did my own visual inspection and did my in person homework on this vehicle ( without him knowing ) . Once I got back , I gave him a feedback and he was very receptive to it . All in all nothing was found to be a deal breaker . I left , went back home because I drove my other vehicle to check out this car in person and possibly seal the deal . Which I did ! Steve gave me his word that he will have all the paperwork done the next morning so I can be in and out because I made him aware that I drove a hour away . So said so done ! People like to push race into everything but this is coming from a black man. Myself and steve never knew each other from a can of paint. He treated me like family from the day I called him inquiring about the vehicle while remaining professional at all times . There was no pressure and it was an exceptional level of customer service ! This will not be the last vehicle I purchase from Mainland auto . *Quick story while I was there * Always be observant of people even when they don’t realize you are observing them . A gentleman came into the dealership in distress about not being paid for something steve and his team had nothing to do with . Steve went into his own pocket to pay this man for his hard work that day and didn’t fully know the situation ( nothing having to do with the dealership ). I have never seen a grown man shed tears. The man was so thankful he was able to feed his family . This alone had me sold , I knew i came to the right place . People in the comments will only speak bad about a situation not going there way , but this is coming from a person who doesn’t have any connection to this dealership whatsoever . I am a customer like everyone else. I hope my experience can not only bring comfort to those looking to purchase a vehicle but also inspire others to be kind and help each other while spreading love . Never be afraid to ask for help . Scheduled an appointment to test drive a 2021 Lexus IS. Spoke with Luke in the morning and again throughout the day to confirm my appointment. In fact, he called me three times when I was on the way to the dealership. Left work early, spent my time and energy on gas and traffic only to find when I arrived that the car was sold. Poor communication among Luke and Steve. Unprofessional… Steve telling me to tell Luke to answer his phone then yelling into my phone to Luke to check his text messages. So inappropriate. Come to find out Luke is not even on site. This was inappropriate, inconsiderate, and very disappointing. After that, you want to sell me another car? Smh. No thank you.

Terrible. I negotiated a price $6000 for suv that has dead battery which they had to replace and that’s all they did. Because the battery HAD to be replaced. Also emergency hand break didn’t work, the entertainment system didn’t work. Price was negotiated base on this.
I did mention to George about low radiator fluid, he filled it but i suspected a leak but didn’t see it at time.
After purchasing the suv I noticed and smell the leak. I personally told George I spoke to my mechanic and it’s the water pump leak. When I went to pick my plates I spoke to george He told me to drop off car and will have his mechanic take care of it. This is the impression he gave me.
I wasted total of 6 hours of driving dropping and pick up my suv, because he and Steve refused to take care of the problem.
Absolutely ridiculous. This issue they should and could have covered. Let’s see how Steve responds to this review and gives his side of the “story”.
