I don’t usually do reviews but my last four experiences (one with my sister whom brought things to be compensated for) was very disappointing. I always wash every item I am planning on to sell and be told that it was over washed when it wasn’t at all and simply smells like washing detergent. But then I see while shopping there is clothing that has animal hair, faded or like it has been sitting in someone’s dirty clothes pile and just got dropped off as is.
Then for the experience involving my sister. She brought many items including things that were brand new in the box and also something she actually bought from this location and only received $48! We’re both aware of the fact that we get only 30% and the store gets 70% but even then the calculations were not making sense. Not to mention that we had to go back into the store to get the $8 difference because the young lady who checked out our offer was very rude and condescending . She even went as far as telling another coworker to tell my sister that she was sorry while standing less than 5 feet away where she could apologize herself.
I use to love this location but the team they have in there now are very unprofessional and seem to show favoritism to certain customers based on my analysis of the various conditions of clothing they have hanging up and my experiences with being told my clothing were “over washed” or “not in style”. You’re better off selling your baby items on marketplace or something .

I love to buy and sell here. I can buy my kid a whole name brand, good condition wardrobe for cheap. I like to sell the same day I buy to get an extra 10% off. Super simple process, way easier than trying to sell on poshmark or mercari. But of course, that means pay out is lower.

This is the best location of the four OUAC within an hour radius from me. I really appreciate the organization. In my experience, the items here have been a better selection, in better condition, AND priced a little lower than the other locations I’ve been to. We have had great luck with toys, clothes, and shoes here. Thank you for the work you do here, and thank you to the parents who pay it forward by selling items here.
It’s worth the commute and the tolls when I have the time and need the clothes.

This one and the one in Mapleshade is a joke. They say they take gently used clothes and they don't. I have 3 diff bags of kids clothes and they refused to take any of them. Most of them were never worn and are brand new. Won't be going back to this location or Mapleshade location.

I never leave reviews but I’m just so baffled over my experience here today. It was a huge waste of time and I honestly don’t know if I will go back and I’m a HUGE Once Upon A Child fan! The customer service was sorely lacking and I’m honestly just confused.
I laundered the clothes last week and put them all in a bag some items even still had tags. Today I brought them in right at opening and waited there 20 minutes. I got the notification that my stuff was ready. The girl at the register told me that the note said that I will need to launder the clothes and bring them back. I was immediately confused and asked her why? She said she didn’t know and I asked if she would have someone come over to tell me what was wrong. She came back over and stated that the items smelled. I was so baffled that I started pulling items out smelling. All I smelled was laundry detergent. Since no one came over to speak with me like I asked I walked over with my bag and stated that I didn’t understand I’m sitting here smelling everything and nothing smells bad. No one came over to talk to me they stood at the back continuing to sort and said it could be from sitting in a basement or closet and I said they weren’t and they don’t smell to which I just got shrugs and very annoyed looks. Since leaving I have asked multiple people to go through the bag and smell them to make sure nothings wrong with my nose and that I’m not crazy. Everyone has said no smell other than laundry detergent. I’m beyond disappointed!

I’d say don’t waste your time or energy. Especially if you are looking for an honest way to make a little extra money off of your clothes your kid no longer needs. I brought in 2 bags with 23 in mint condition clothing items and shoes. I was offered $47 and I wasn’t given a receipt to see the total breakdown. I knew there was an Adidas hoodie sweat suit with the tags that my kid never wore and out grew it by the time cool weather returned. The cashier said they were offering me $6 and some change for it. I declined and asked for it back. Due to the inflation…I was looking to make a little extra cash to make ends meet while helping a business stay afloat. I brought in great merchandise. The clothes were washed and the shoes cleaned. Out of the 23 items brought in they ended up wanting-two pairs of crocs, a pair of Ugg boots , a black pair of boots, a pair of sketchers, a pair of black and white platform converse sneakers, an athletic workout set for a tween, a black & white jumpsuit, jean old navy overalls, a jean jacket, a pair of teal pants and the Adidas sweatsuit. So minus the sweat suit-I walked away with $39 and some change. A total rip off. If you’re trying to make some extra money this isn’t it. I’ve attached pictures of some of my items that they received from me today. This was a very disappointing and disturbing experience.

I don't get the bad reviews. I love this place. I come here from PA to shop here for my kids. It's cheap and has really good quality. I just wish they had bamboo! lol

After reading the comments, I still wanted to give this place a try.... however, I was indeed not greeted when I entered this store both times today. So the previous comments on feeling invisible at the Deptford store were spot on. Overall unpleasant attitudes. I didnt sell my items, I was curious of the price and it wasn't worth it.

They expect everything to be completely spotless, for a used goods store they are a complete joke and waste of time.
