jenay doesnt kno how to do someones hair at all. she had to ask three diff ppl how to do a haircut and brush my hair. makes it seems she unprofessional and she doesnt kno what she doing thats why i gave zero tip. she shudnt be working here she gossips bout the manager and clients. i would give this salon lame for my first exp but my hair came out better after old lady fixed it for me and she gave me discount.

Had hair trim and root touch-up on Thursday 2/22/24 . All the staff very nice and friendly. Listened to me and gave me just what I wanted the way I always get my hair done. Left there feeling great as I always do and comfortable. Definitely recommend. It's like a hidden treasure back there at the jc penney salon.

horrible experience. had an appointment with elizabeth at 2:30 because i had somewhere to be at 4. she messaged me asking to move it back to 3 because she was running behind. i thought it was pushing it but as long as i got back there at 3 it should be fine. got there at 2:50 and waited for her until 3:15 when she still wasn’t there. the kind woman at the front desk went back to see if she was almost done. she was not, and i had to reschedule. this is not the first time she has done this, she is always pushing her appointments back. it’s extremely unprofessional. do not tell me 3 if that’s not when you can take me. some of us have places to be and don’t have time to wait for you to do your job.

i had an appointment with elizabeth at 2:30 because i had somewhere to be at 4. simple cut and blow dry. she pushed it back to 3 pm because she was "running behind". i thought it was pushing it but would be fine as long as i got back there by 3. got there and waited till 3:20 and she still hadn't even greeted me. the kind woman at the front desk went back to see if she would be done soon and she clearly would not be. i had to reschedule. i was very disappointed as i was excited to get my hair cut and look nice for a date i had. this is not the first time she has pushed an appointment back and been extremely late. overall elizabeth is extremely unprofessional and has no place in a professional hair salon if she is incapable of doing her job timely.

Had 11 am appt with Turquoise. She was late but I waited patiently. As soon as she came in and saw me she appeared to have an attitude and asked what I was looking to have done I told her to shorten length an layer the top and she refused to cut my hair saying because I have natural curly hair it shouldn’t be layered. Needless to say I left without getting my hair done and will never go back. I have NEVER had a hair stylist refuse to cut my hair

Horrible experience. The stylist Jaiana was 20 min late. Then said she had to set up her station about another 15 minute. That should have been a red flag for the worst salon experience I ever had. She had no clue on how to do hair. She had to get her manager to cut my hair because she didn’t know how. She didn’t know how to wrap hair. She had me hold it literally 3 pieces. She had to get another stylist to come over and do it. She didn’t know how to do simple curling with a curling iron. She just bent the hair in the middle. I had to stop her. Her manager had to come and curl my hair. My appointment was at 11am I got out about 3pm. 4 hrs for short easy to do fine hair. Shame on you JCPenneys. I observed another customer come in to have her cut her hair. The manager had to step in to cut the next customers hair. This young lady has no business working as a hair stylist. Save yourself time and regret you will be sorry. Very, very disappointed! Yes I paid for it with much regret. Negative -5 star rating.Services: Hairstyling

The new salon manager is super professional and knows her stuff! Im amazed especially with her color applications, very impressive. I hear she can also barber a mans hair.
