“Nobels is the best! I came in for a check engine light. I tested the code myself and it came back with a bad O2 sensor. Nobels tested and found a vacuum line disconnected. The mechanic plugged the line back in and reset the engine code. They could have changed the O2 sensor and charged me for that. Instead they were honest and told me what the real cause of the check engine light was. I also had the oil changed too. Completely recommend Nobels! Tony up front at the desk is awesome!”

“I had an excellent experience bringing my car here for the first time. I live in north Jersey and I was told that my serpentine belt was badly cracked and it needed repaired immediately when I brought my car to get new windshield wipers . I could not find a local mechanic with availability to fix my car asap, but I was going to be in the south Jersey area later that day to visit family. I called Lou’s Automotive Center and I was told to bring my car in whenever I could. I immediately could tell that Lou was an honest mechanic who only does what is necessary. My serpentine belt got fixed and my car was ready within 3-4 hours. I cannot say how much I appreciate a mechanic who I’ve never been to before so willingly having the time to fix my car on such short notice. Whenever I am in the area and need work done on my car I’ll be sure to take it to Lou’s!”
“I've been coming here for inspection and maintenance for years. This is definitely one of the best shops around. It's almost always pretty busy so it's best to call ahead to schedule appointment. There's no dedicated parking lot (like most shops in Philly), but there's plenty of street parking nearby when dropping off the vehicle. They always explain if there's any fixes needed and get your approval before doing any work. They never try to push any unnecessary services or charge any surprise fees. A++”
“My mom took her car to Voorhees Auto about 15 years ago. She thought her engine was done. They looked at it and told her it was only a fuse and didn't even charge her for it. Ever since then we have been going to them. They are so honest and knowledgeable. I just took my truck there to have a coil replaced and a fuel injector. They got each job done within the same day and at a very fair price. This place is the best! I recommend everyone to them. Thank you guys for being so honest and efficient!”
“My ford vehicle with a garbage 10r80 transmission broke (as expected). The staff were always courteous and explained everything that was going on with my vehicle. The tech was able to diagnose the problem without any check engine lights or codes in the computer. Unfortunately, i needed a new transmission but they installed it quickly and properly and had me on my way in a reasonable time frame. Pricing was in line with other local shops and while a big expense, it wasn’t excessive with extra bs fees. When i picked up my completed vehicle the girl at the front desk was super helpful and the tech came in to discuss in detail what they had to do to complete the job. Excellent work wd trans! Will be back! (Hopefully not soon)”

are rampant, meeting Michelle and the staff at Matthew was a breath of fresh air.
I don't live in the area, but,I have referred them to two other friends who are very happy with their services and very happy with the price for the services, which is value.
I believe the hardest thing to find today is honesty. As a consumer, we don't know what we don't know.
Because of the distance from my home to their place of business, I did not bring my car here first. After taking my vehicle to a local mechanic who did not solve the problem, I decided to take my vehicle to Matthey, .because I trusted them, based on the experience of my good friends.
If you don't have extra money to waste, then take your vehicle here first and save yourself money. Because of convenience, I made a poor decision costing myself time, not having my vehicle which cost money. They not only diagnosed the problem and solved it within a day, but the estimate was right on, and the car was running better than ever. I trusted my local mechanic, which cost three weeks and they solved the problem in a day.
Their price structure is very forward, and very fair. More importantly, they focus on the work and provide a two year guarantee along with their services.
Now that my vehicle is running, I will be taking it to Matthey for all future work.

I got my oil changed at a separate Philly garage and they diagnosed my car with a ton of issues and gave me a super high quote for them — they were quite pushy for me to get the services done then and there, despite the high cost being out of my budget then. It left me with a bad feeling so I went to Phil’s for a second look. He easily could’ve sold me on the same scam diagnosis, but instead thoroughly and thoughtfully checked out my car and pointed to where the first estimate was off. He told me what the costs would be for the repair and advised me that it would be cost prohibitive to do the repair. He wouldn't take any money for his time either. It was a pleasure to meet someone in the business that truly was there to help people rather than just making a buck.”

“I’m not big on reviews but had to take the time out to leave a positive one for Mickey’s! Went in for an oil change this morning and it was a pleasant experience. They were quick and efficient, went above and beyond with doing additional minor work like replacing a rear light bulb and my back wiper blade. They also gave me new wiper fluid without asking which I really appreciated. Dan is a solid guy, straightforward, and Devin did excellent service. Highly recommended!”

“Steve went above and beyond with helping me with the transmission on my 2018 Yukon. I call him on a Sunday an he answered the phone even though he was closed. Took my vehicle first thing Monday on a short notice. Change the transmission fluid and repair the transmission thermostat for a very reasonable price. my family and i were visiting New jersey when our Yukon's transmission started overheating and stalling non us. He fixed us up and got us back on the road. He also continued to check on us daily until we made it home to Dallas, Texas. It's been a month since he repaired our Yukon and it has not given us one problem. He did great and would highly recommend Atlantic Transmission.”
