They gave me a price of $1500 for the rebuild and torque converter but recommended that I repair any vacuum leaks first before having the trans done as this could be the problem. “The last couple of months have been rough for me and my family. I had fallen into a place where my car had been neglected for some pretty critical repairs. I was able to send an email inquiring about their service from the website which was answered fairly quickly. They were able to let me make an appointment at the time of response for a week later. I was nervous leading up to today because car repairs can be very expensive and repair shops can be intimidating to deal with. I was able to drop my car off in the morning, and it was fixed and running great by the late afternoon. The technicians were fast and knowledgeable. “Steve went above and beyond with helping me with the transmission on my 2018 Yukon. I call him on a Sunday an he answered the phone even though he was closed. Took my vehicle first thing Monday on a short notice. Change the transmission fluid and repair the transmission thermostat for a very reasonable price. my family and i were visiting New jersey when our Yukon's transmission started overheating and stalling non us. He fixed us up and got us back on the road. He also continued to check on us daily until we made it home to Dallas, Texas. It's been a month since he repaired our Yukon and it has not given us one problem. He did great and would highly recommend Atlantic Transmission.”

He told me what the costs would be for the repair and advised me that it would be cost prohibitive to do the repair. He wouldn't take any money for his time either. It was a pleasure to meet someone in the business that truly was there to help people rather than just making a buck.”
