Went there to fill a propane tank but couldn't because the employee qualified to fill tanks had just left. I should have called ahead....oh, wait, I did, several times but no one answered the phone. I'll try to find some else to fill my tanks in the future.

Not only did they book a truck that wasn’t going to be available they charged my account for a truck … no sorry two trucks I never rented. I do not recommend using this location they all seem a little lost and then sorry is suppose to fix it

Both times I went in for my reservation the truck was not available. The second time my apprentice was canceled because the manager put in the time incorrectly. I was charged a higher fee for the truck since the reserved one was not available. No provisions were made to accommodate me for this inconvenience.

They cheat on gas level by parking the vehicle on uneven road. Different spots for pick up and drop off so gas level changes!!!

I purchased an item from the local Home Depot, there were no trucks available to use. I decided to rent a pick up truck from Uhaul. I scheduled the pickup for the next evening. When I arrived, the pick up truck was unavailable. We received a larger truck. I schedule for two hours which it was a thirty minute errand. The local Home Depot is less than half a mile from the Uhaul rent. You could walk. In addition, Home Depot is 2.05 miles from my home. We picked up the truck it was estimated online at $25.90 on paper $48.60 and I was charged $83.00. When I called the location. I was told that the truck was drop off but the may have left early and it required to be check in on the app. Giving that reason I was charged a overnight fee, I pick up the truck at 6: 30 pm and the location is schedule to close at 7 pm. I was charged for insurance inspited that it was decline and for gas which the for a less than 5 mile trip the handle did not move. The manage was unavailable to speak and the customer service was not any help. I could have paid $79 to Uhaul for the one item delievery. The guy on the phone stated he could not see the contract and he could only assume this is why I was charged such a difference. I have rented many of times from Uhaul. I will never rent from them again.

the equipment was clean and the service provider was very helpful and nice. the equipment did not smell like cigarettes as i have experienced in the past. pick up was easy. also i did have to call the service to switch my truck because i selected the wrong size by accident and they were SO helpful, calm, and collected.

First off id like to say the employee on duty was the only one there when I rented a van, and he was awesome. I didnt get his name but I give him 5/5 stars. He prepared my pickup in advance so I didnt have to wait, He filled up the vans tires to the proper level once I mentioned the tire pressure was low, explained everything thoroughly, and he had a great convo with me. He deserves a raise, hes great.However, The reasons for my 2 stars is for the actual U-Haul company/website. They do EVERYTHING in their power to hide your final price and to upsell all their other b.s. My original estimate online was 33$, then it went to 37$, then my printout at the store estimated 41$. I didnt know the final cost until I received my receipt through my email and they charged me 51$!! I even returned the van early(only had it for less than ONE hour), drove the exact amount of miles I estimated, and filled the gas tank completely even though i was only required to fill it to 3/4 tank. I had to click no atleast 10 times on the website when they had huge popup screens saying “ hire a helper, buy mattress covers, packing peanuts, tape, get boxes” etc. the entire online process is horribly confusing due to that and shows me that this really isnt a great company.

When I signed in woman who signed me in said she would help me load the trailer, I waited, she did not, another person helped me load it.Next day I came to return it and 10 people were waiting for the store to open about 40 minutes after the scheduled open time. Additionally the lot was so full I had almost no where to put the trailer and the way the way the trucks were parked it was almost impossible to back the trailer up into the right spot. I ended up just unloading it and walking it back into a spot.Awful experience.

August 2, 2023I took my propane tank to U-Haul Deptford to be filled. A very nice young woman named Sabriya filled the tank for me. It was clear that she knew what she was doing, and was using safety protocols. We had a very pleasant conversation while I was checking out. I hope she's there the next time I have to fill my tank. Thank you Sabriya!
