I wanted to wait to write a review to allow for a really good test of the new system Giovanni and team installed in my home. After these many weeks of on and off heavy rains, I can say that I can rest easier during storms like the ones we've had. The french drain has more that handled the load thrown at it. Thank you United for keeping my basement dry!!!

United Waterproofing installed french drains around the perimeter of my finished basement eight years ago, after repeated incidents of minor flooding and displaced tile flooring. Since then, there have been no problems.
Earlier today, I noticed that the pipe leading from the basement outside the house had cracked, likely due to an encounter with a lawnmower. With heavy rain expected tonight, I reached out to United. My call was returned within minutes.
By early afternoon, Giovanni came (and I live about 45 minutes away from United's office) and handled the repair. It's raining steadily now, and I don't have to be concerned with water cycling back into the basement, which likely would have happened if the pipe hadn't been repaired.
It's rare to find this level of customer service today.

You can't beat the service you get with United Waterproofing! My husband called Giovanni today due to our pump constantly running but it didn't appear to be expelling water. Giovanni worked with my husband over the phone and then came in person in very quickly to check out the issue! They were able to get it resolved in a matter of minutes as well as were able to come up with a plan of action in the case this issue happens again. You truly can't beat the service!

I have battled water coming into my basement for over forty years. I have made every homeowner mistake trying to remedy the problem myself. This involved putting coatings on the walls and pouring small concrete barriers all of which failed. I was never solving the problem that there was water penetrating the exterior block and filling the cells of the block and eventually leaching out onto the floor. I was about to make the same mistake again and happened to search online basement waterproofing. I found United Waterproofing website and watched the video and I immediately knew that I had to hire them to finally fix the problem. I had them out for a price to remedy my situation which I thought was very fair. Giovanni and the crew came in and in one day installed an interior French drain system. The crew was so professional. They covered all my belongings in plastic and protected all areas that they weren’t working in. They also protected the outside of my lawn and property by putting down plywood while they accessed the basement through my basement window. Everything was cleaned up when they left down to washing down my driveway. To see that level of detail to customer satisfaction is really inspiring. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the project. I never thought it was possible to get a dry basement and that’s exactly what they delivered. I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with United Waterproofing! From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing top-notch service. United Waterproofing installed french drains around the perimeter of our basement, two sump-pumps and most importantly remediated structural damage concerns on three walls. Steve (salesman) came to my home to quote the job, we inspected the basement together and he took the time to explain the issue, the process to fix the problems, answered all my questions, and offered a clear, detailed competitive estimate. Giovanni (owner operator) was on the job every day and applied his decades of expertise first-hand to the work taking place. United also has a lifetime, transferrable, warranty. The crew was punctual, respectful of my home, and worked efficiently without cutting any corners. The crew cleaned up after themselves meticulously from start to finish. Giovanni and his team were professional, efficient, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Our basement concerns were more complicated than we had originally thought, and Giovanni explained the process and repair in great detail, and made us feel comfortable that the work was being done by professionals who were knowledgeable about their business. Giovani and his crew were better than I expected. Professional and talented workers. They went above and beyond to fix my house and water issues that were made worse by the previous owners. The house foundation was failing after the earthquake. Now I can sleep better at night. Thank you United Waterproofing!

Giovanni and his team repaired a sump pump battery that had failed. We agreed on a price, they arrived on time, replaced both pumps and installed a new battery and charger. Clean up was excellent. Real pros and a pleasure to have in our home.

New review April 2024: I highly recommend United Waterproofing!! Giovanni and his crew are fantastic. Giovanni cares about your house as if it was his own. They did work for me last June to shore up a rotted sill plate, add drains and a sump pump. That section of the unfinished basement is great. Next up was to tackle the other section of the basement where the foundation block sits on rock. United Waterproofing added weep holes in the block and drainage and then covered the area with a barrier, and finished with concrete. Also replaced the sump pump that coincidentally died today. Very reasonably priced. Always goes above and beyond. Crew is neat and clean up so you're never know they were here. Give Isela a call and schedule an estimate today. You're in great hands!
July 2023 review: United Waterproofing, Giovanni and the entire team are absolutely fantastic!! Significant issues were discovered by the inspector when buying my home. We needed repair estimates asap. Giovanni came out the same day, made thorough inspections and proposals such that I was able to get substantial repair credits from the seller. The mortgage company required additional bids. The others missed the rotted sill plate entirely and they subcontract out the work! Not United Waterproofing!
As soon as I moved in, the work was scheduled. More damage was discovered as the repairs were being done and extra work was performed, without a price increase, because Giovanni truly cares about protecting your property. The entire crew is hard working, respectful and conscientious. They repaired the sill plate, installed several drains, dug out and replaced the sump pump, and cleaned up inside and out, all in a day and a half! What a great experience! And now I have peace of mind that my home is safe and secure.

This is the second time I’ve used United Waterproofing. I absolutely highly recommend Giovanni and his crew! You won’t find a more conscientious, reasonable, responsive and honest company to address your water issues! They do all of the work themselves - no subcontractors. They always go above and beyond. We just had our crawl space waterproofed with United Waterproofing and I can’t say enough wonderful things about them. From the first time I got on the phone with their office manager Isela, to speaking with the owner Giovanni, to meeting with Steve who came to give us an estimate for the job, we were amazed with their knowledge and professionalism. Both Steve and Giovanni explained the process of what they were going to do and gave us such a great level of confidence. We have spoken to other companies before and it wasn’t like this. United Waterproofing knows what they are doing and they take pride in their work and also take pride in how they treat their customers. The whole team is wonderful and Giovanni the owner really cares about the client and the job.Giovanni arrived at our home on time with a crew of workers who were efficient and very, very neat considering the type of job they were doing. They were respectful of our property and when they left, you honestly didn’t know that there was work done there that day. It was one of the best experiences we have had with contract work. Wonderful company! They know their craft. Friendly staff! Steve was very knowledgeable. Live person answers the phone and she is so helpful. Giovanni responds to any question instantly. Covered all my belongings left in basement that I couldn't move. Did job in one day and the crew cleaned as they worked. Neatest job ever! Had three big rainstorms since french drain was installed and not a drop of water in the basement.

We had water pooling in our basement and couldn’t be happier with how well United Waterproofing helped us fix it.We got a few quotes and some other companies who said we’d have to replace the entire french drain system for an outrageous price, but it turns out that wouldn’t have even solved the problem! United Waterproofing was very diligent in helping us find the cause (a crack in the side wall), and we really appreciate how thorough they were.The cost was very reasonable and everyone was really nice, the work was done very well and we’ll definitely be using them again if we ever have any other issues.
