Recently, a lady approached me in Dover and asked if I spoke English. I said yes, and she asked if I could help her translate because she did not understand and no one was speaking to her in Spanish. I went in with her and explained to the staff that the lady had lost a package and wanted to know how to locate it since she had the tracking number. The employee began shouting at us, saying that if the lady did not speak English, she could not assist her and that she did not know where the package was. She was extremely rude.
At the very least, there should be someone available who speaks Spanish and who has the basic human decency to treat customers with respect.

Rude and unprofessional Lady working at the front desk. This was my second interaction with her, once in person and once over the phone. The first time I was just dropping off a package, and this 2nd time I had called up because a package I shipped went missing. She would not file a request to look into the lost package or speak to her boss/supervisor. She said I should file a complaint and then hung up on me. This lady needs to be fired!

horrible and unprofessional service. an absolutely rude and nasty lady was mean to my mom when she went to pick up a package for me while i was working at my job (while my mom brought my valid identification for the package) and the lady refused to give it until she got impatient. my mom cried to me on the phone after the interaction, and i'm still not over it! the lady looks down on you and has no respect, she gets mad at the littlest things. if i could, i would avoid this post office, but for now they'll get the same rude attitude in return from me.

No one in this post office actually helps when there is an issue with mail that needs to be resolved. It's been a month of getting the run around. No one seems competent enough to do their job and address the issue. If at all possible, avoid this post office.

This is the best post office that I've ever been to. Employees are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. This place gets packed with all kinds of requests and the staff assists everyone with a smile on their face.

Absolutely unprofessional!! I called this facility yesterday to see if I would be able to pick up a package that was scheduled to be delivered a few days ago. I was told by a lady that if the package comes and I am there before it leaves the facility, I will be able to obtain it or they could simply hold it for me. I then call this morning and explain the situation to a lady and she responds with “ you don’t have a computer? A smart phone would tell you if it is here or not. Nope, I you can’t get it.” I then explain to her that is why I called yesterday to see what their policy was on such things and she continues to be rude and unprofessional. So here I am waiting outside the facility for the doors to open so I can have some words.

Beware.
Unhelpful and rude woman answered the phone at 10:40AM Thursday 1/30. Didn’t catch her name, in fact I couldn’t. A rule of good customer service is not getting impatient when people cannot hear you because you are talking too fast and mumbling. That was pretty shocking and I will be calling USPS to make a complaint. I hope they have secret shoppers and catch that attitude. Don’t speak to people like they are stupid for not hearing you the first time. If you are busy you ask for patience. I was nothing but polite and thanked you, but that was sincerely inexcusable. I don’t care if it’s busy and you are having a really bad day, you talk to another human being that way?
