“Unlike other furniture stores on Route 22, we weren't "jumped on" the moment we walked in the door. Our sales person (Alan Granetz) was extremely knowlegeable and helpful. He introduced himself, asked how he could assist us (asked what were we looking for), and then guided us to where the said items were located. He then gave us time to browse with out breathing down our necks. When he saw we appeared interested in a couple of pieces he aporoached us and explained available options (manual, motorized, upholstry...etc) and asked if we had any questions. He then checked availability. He was extremely attentive without be overbearing. The other sales reps on the floor appeared to have a similar sales approach. I usually hate furniture shopping because most sales people are pushy and overbearing. That was not the case at La-z-y North Plainfield. I highly reccomend them.”

Ellen did a fantastic job utilizing and opening up the space, taking advantage of the natural light from the adjoining room, and matching a variety of comfortable Ethan Allen pieces to the brick, stone and wood in the room. “What a one of a kind antique shop. This place not only isn't a run down place like most antique shops but has such an amazing collection of antiques. From books to tea sets. Old lanterns ,collectibles, swords ,irons ,pictures etc. Me and the wife found so many treasures for beautiful decorations. The owner Raphael was super nice very knowledgeable and priced everything reasonably. It's a very well maintained and beautifully presented shop. A definite must if your looking for antiques to spruce up your home.”
“We purchased a beautiful sofa and matching loveseat, and as usual the staff designers had great suggestions and were able to easily help us design our custom pieces. A fabric swatch was quickly sent by mail so we could continue to select complementary furniture, rug, paint and accessories. We were also surprised that the furniture was delivered in the promised timeframe. We have a number of home improvement projects going on simultaneously and all of the contractors are complaining about huge supply chain disruption and inability to get anything on time. Not Creative Furniture - they were easy to work with and completely reliable!”

“They are located in Somerset downtown area with lots of other shops and food near by. Cant take pictures inside. They have some good smelling incense and a large selection of candles. They also have altars which I have not seen at many other metaphysical shops. They sell vaping products and herbals.”
“CHARACTER OF A BUSINESS. You can always tell the quality of a business by their customer service. Businesses often don't recognize the strength of their business is not only their product(s) but how they interact with their customers. I recently had an issue with my Ignis fireplace fuel order. When I received my 12-bottle order, 3 of the bottles were significantly less than full. I had never had this problem with any other Ignis orders. I contacted the claims department with the issue, and they quickly and honorably fixed the problem to my satisfaction by replacing the 3 bottles. I was actually surprised when I saw the box at my front door, because I had not checked my email for a response right away. I emailed the claims department on 12/11/20 and received the replacement fuel on 12/21/2020. I have enjoyed my Ignis bioethanol fireplace for three years. If you get one, make sure you clean the boxes periodically as they recommend. I used mine for a long period without cleaning it, and the smoke detector kept going off. Once I cleaned the boxes, the problem went away. Thank Patrick”

We really liked the one we purchased and it was on a great sale and great quality. Latha even suggested other delivery methods to do, which we ended up getting a Uhaul and getting the mattress right away the same day. Latha gave us a great experience and pricing for our mattress and we are very thankful for her help and kindness.Thank you so much!”

“1/16/24: I haven’t been to this store in awhile but the first time I went I couldn’t contain myself. I was like a kid in a toy store. There are so many cool things from kitchen to storage to office supplies, etc. When I visit I pretty much explore every aisle. I’m never disappointed with my purchases and have never returned anything. My local store is in Paramus but I wish there were one closer to Suffern.”

“What a find this place is! The Brass Shop has been in business for over 50 years and that was a good omen. We needed to have an old bell jar lamp rewired and cleaned up. It was done within a few days. Frank, the owner, was great to work with and very helpful in having us video how to reassemble our pendant. And, the price was a quarter of what a store in Summit was going to charge for the same work...with no attitude.”

“Urban Outfitters is geared toward the 20-something year old consumer. I went in looking for a cute top today and found a dress on the clearance rack. I like this store for their unique variety of clothing, which are sometimes overpriced for what you get, but quite on brand as a sister company or subsidiary to Anthropologie. I also like the random fines on the clearances racks that are always outside the box of what I'm thinking I need for an outfit at the moment. The staff is always friendly. There are no greeters or people who follow you around asking if you need help, but I'm okay with going to the register and asking for help. The store is clean and conveniently located on the first floor of Menlo Park mall.”
