Went in here one day to look for lights. I found one that I really liked but was instructed by the person in the shop I was not allowed to take pictures of the light fixtures. I immediately was turned off and left the store. What are they worried about? Me finding something similar on the interent for less? I was very disapointed and upset over this, especially since I was not decided on a light. Needless to say the light there was 700/800 and the one I purchased was for 1700.00 on line. Imagine if they had just worked with me a created a better experience? I would have spend 1k more than what they thought. Maybe they did n't want me to because I was dressed in yoga pants and didn't look put together so they thought I wasn't a real buyer or had money to spend.***I think their response to my above review is bogus. If a customer desires to take a picture to think on a product than so be it. There is no uniquness in the curation of their fixtures. Some of them can be purchased online, and other light stores have the same fixtures. The listing of their "policies" to defute how their employee made me feel absolutely lacks any type of tone. They are listing them to make other potential buyers feel better about purchasing from them. If you read the other reviews, you will see that the owners are not easy to deal with.

I just got my chandelier installed yesterday. It’s amazing and looks way better than I had imagined. A special shout-out to Samir and his team for doing an exceptional job with the installation. I would recommend both Exceptional Lighting and the professional installation team and will definitely buy from them again in future.

Came to this location couple weeks ago and was quoted a price of $2700. After returning they said the price is $3700 and claim it to be a mistake/misunderstanding. This "mistake" created a lot of wasted time and inconvenience. I believe they should have taken responsibility for honoring the quoted price.

“Installation bad, missing crystal strings and light bulb issue”Installation the product on time. Many crystal strings were missing. I have taken the pictures and sent it. No acknowledgement for the email. After few calls, they acknowledged and fixed those missing crystals. Light bulbs installed didn’t last 5 months. The store claim that bulb should have 15000 hrs life. It didn’t last 300 hrs. We may be using 2 hrs max each day. When I reported back about the bulbs lifetime issue, store response is “bulb life do not last long”. Repeating the same multiple times. There is a difference between 300 hrs and 15000 hrs. When I try to explain that, they don’t seem to acknowledge the fact.Not happy with the product and service.

Exceptional lighting as the name suggests is absolutely exceptional. They have wide variety of chandeliers for all type of needs. The manual with the package could have been more descriptive and instructions more detailed. Apart from that an awesome experience . Service was good too. Overall very much satisfied. Would definitely be going back soon for another chandelier. Highly recommended!!

Prices are reasonable for the smaller items.Service was pretty good, but there’s not much flexibility on color combinations.

Great chandeliers place or anything a good price. We purchased this chandelier after visiting a lot of stores, we also purchased Console table, wall mirror and some decoration pieces. it was very good packing, on time and in good condition and fair price. Specially they guy who works there he is really cooperative and helps full, he can read your mind and works well with customer. I would definitely suggest you should visit this place!

Was looking for a chandelier and NJ Exceptional Lighting caught my eye off of Rt18. When you go inside, there's a tremendous amount of gorgeous options to select from. I brought two chandelier's one was on sale and the other was at regular price. We kept in contact over the phone/in-person on installation date. When the chandelier was installed, it was done timely and very professionally. Thank you for a job well done! Satisfied Customer

This store has an extensive showroom with unique lighting fixtures and other home accessories. We met Bayat during our first visit and he was very helpful with answering all our questions. The light fixture we purchased required many crystals. Once installed we were not quite sure how to attach the crystals so we reached out to Bayat for help. Within minutes he provided a short tutorial with step-by-step instruction which was recorded in the store using the same fixture we purchased. We were extremely grateful for his help.

This is a terrible place to do business. The store salesperson is not always honest. I purchased a piece on March 13. A week later he said "the tracking number says it will ship out April 2." On April 2, he says the tracking number doesn't exist. So he lied about that. It seems if the item you purchase goes smoothly in transaction, all will seem normal, but if not, he will try to give you the run around so that he keeps your money and hopes you go away. It's best to pay with credit card here so that you can still dispute the charges to get your money back if he starts enacting his shady tactics.

I went to this store to look for some lighting ideas for my living room. The sales person followed me around the entire store. Every where I went, he was there like a creep. Other people came in the store and he only followed me, as if I could steal an entire chandelier. I will not be buying anything from this store. It was a south Asian male with darker skin than me, assuming that I’m going to steal some of the cheap items that they have lying around collecting dust. I am half south Asian and half black, but I guess he assumed that the black side of me was going to steal. Assumptions cause businesses to lose many customers. I am going to tell all of my business associates and friends not to spend any money in this store. Dark skin people in the United States have money. That may be unusual in the caste system that he came from, but it’s not unusual here in the United States, which is probably why he is here in the first place.
