Please avoid at all cost. Terrible, non existent customer service. Majority of my shipment was stolen, all high value items. If you have the misfortune of working with them, please write your congressman for any discrepancies. Your congressman will take it seriously. Companies like this prey upon government contracts and military personnel. This company should have their contract revoked.*edit in response to the owner*Don, please explain to me how ignoring customer inquiries is an example of striving for perfection and high-quality customer service? In fact, your adjusters, and yourself refused to respond to my emails in regard to why you never provided an offer within the 60-day period. I emailed your company in intervals, 2 weeks prior to the deadline, a week out, the day of, and after the deadline. You and your employees completely disappeared. Please, elaborate how that is appropriate? Please clarify how that is professional? Ironically, your office even had the audacity to tell the Military Claims Office that you did not have enough time to provide a settlement offer(you sat on the request for over 40 days before transferring to your claims department. I have the email traffic to prove it). Absolutely outrageous! I tried to be cordial and understanding. I wanted to believe that you and your company would handle this professionally however your actions have suggested otherwise. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. Expect a congressional inquiry. If I can spare at least one person the hassle of ever dealing with your company, then my losses will have not been in vain. If you can avoid using GridIron, do so! If you are obligated to use them because of a government contract, please insist that your POC read the litany of complaints by US military and the diplomatic core against GridIron (here and elsewhere) and drop the contract or use another freight forwarder for your move. I speak from direct experience.In mid August 2021, the US Embassy in Tokyo selected GridIron as our freight forwarder. We trusted them and their choice. We thought we did everything right. We claimed our high value items separately, put our jewelry in our carry-on. Etc. The following month, both GridIron and Corrigan movers informed us that 2 boxes were missing. We were also informed then that the plastic wrapping around our 10 boxes had been torn or cut and it was suggested that this (and the missing boxes) could have been foul play.We reached out to GridIron to discuss our options and to fill out our claim form for the missing items. The replacement value for the lost/stolen good was $30,240 The missing items included all our winter items, my shoes, purses, and 80% of my daughter’s clothes. These are essential items and we don’t have an extra $30,000 to cover their replacement. Gridiron representatives callously informed us it was not their problem and they would only reimburse us $994. We pushed back and even offered to accept resale value for the items—many in pristine condition. They refused.We are now talking to a lawyer and the Department of State about what legal action can be taken against Gridiron for their clear negligence in ensuring our items arrived safely to their destination, which includes preventing them from possible theft. No one—certainly no one who serves the public good—should be treated like this.So again, if you have any choice in the matter, look elsewhere for your moving needs.

If only there were a 0-star option.2 months of delays, 0 customer service. I am not a picky customer, and I rarely leave reviews. I have conducted multiple overseas, transoceanic moves and I recognize that there can be unforeseen delays. Moving in the middle of the pandemic surely doesn’t help. But Gridiron’s 1-star review is for the absolute 0 proactivity and 0 customer service after the first automated delivery delay notice from the Personal Property system, if I did not constantly ask for updates I would never have know what the status of my shipment was.Original delivery date was 07/06/21.On 06/29/21, Jason Kearns notified me of the first delay to my shipment to No Later Than 07/31/21. Then that date came and went.I did not hear from Jason or anyone at Gridiron again til 08/24/21, after I reached out to ask for updates. After almost 2 months delay, finally get a shipping date offered for 08/30/21 which my building loading dock could not support, so shift to 08/31/21. Then, the local agent cancels due to potential weather. I also understand that’s out of the hands of Gridiron, but they didn’t even know about it until I reached out. Still have not heard from Jason and through the local agent the next available delivery date is 09/10/21, over 2 months late.Additionally, every single time I spoke to a representative with Gridiron, only 2-3 different people over the months I worked with them, they never conveyed the accurate address to the local agent. A minor thing, and probably more a Personal Property Office database issue, but indicative of their product.EDIT: upon reading other reviews, seems like this is a reoccurring issue with Gridiron. Unsurprising.

Zero stars is more appropriate. I have worked with 13 different TSPs in my 17(+) of military service; 3 different TSPs on this last move alone. I have never had such a horrible experience, across every aspect of my move, as I have with your company; the other two TSPs I interacted with on this move were absolutely great, even phenomenal in some aspects, and the reviews I have written for them reflects. Gridiron’s communication was horrible throughout the process. I received one call in April with an introduction and I heard nothing after that until I started trying to call in early June to get dates for when the movers were going to do the inventory for a one that was scheduled to occur a week later. On pickup day, the origin carrier arrived way past the 5pm no later than time, and Gridiron was no where to be found. Why didn't Gridiron contact me that day, or anytime in the next 10 days to ask me how pick-up went? Where was Gridiron engaging with the carrier on my behalf? They weren't! Furthermore, they accepted a contract to have my goods delivered on 5 August; on Gridiron informed me on 29 July that it would be late. At 12:35pm on August 8th, they attempted to contact me for same day delivery of my goods, subsequently putting my goods in short-term storage because they did not receive any of my subsequent calls or e-mails in time. Gridiron then shirked all your responsibility for the goods being delivered beyond the RDD. Their lack of responsibility for their own actions is unacceptable at best, and unethical at its worst. The trouble continued after I filed a claim for lost and damaged goods in my shipment. If I had a previous issue with a client, real or perceived, I would have over communicated with them in all subsequent interactions. I would have replied to the client sometime before I left the office for four days to tell them I had received their e-mail and would process it as soon as possible when I got back into the office the following week. I would not have waited until the evening hours of the 5th day until the client CC’d the President of the company before I responded; and I would have for sure responded fully and completely the day after the President was informed. Furthermore, I would certainly have not waited 7(+) days after unilaterally closing the claim with a check for the client to inquire on the status, before I disclosed to him/her of my actions. In all the actions I took to seek accountability for Gridiron in the Department of Defense (DoD) personal property system, I discovered what I could have already assessed. Gridiron has a severely negative reputation among many professionals in the DoD system.
