Worse customer service ever! Joe B. (supervisor) is rude, unprofessional and not helpful at all. As a matter of fact, he cops a confrontational attitude as though you're there for a fight. Fight alone he will as I'm there to shop not argue. How he ever got to be a supervisor is beyond me. Sad how some stores don't really care to correct the staff issues. It's great that LOWES is down the street.

This Home Depot's location is a complete and under s$&tshow. Customer Service is rude, unprofessional and incapable of interacting in a helpful manner. Kirsten embodies how NOT to be in customer service...thanks goodness Lowe's is now open in Hanover, without fail East Hanover always provides issues versus solutions.

I wish I can give 0 star. I went in this store, purchased and paid for an extension ladder with the delivery fee. The ladder was supposed to be delivered the following Monday. I called to check on the status the day before. They cancelled my order without notifying me. They sold the ladder to someone else and told me they refunded back to my credit card. When i complained since it was only one in stock and none was available their response was "oh yes, we sold someone else's patio set too". Wow, is this what they do? Take orders, take payment and sell to anyone else who wants them? I was promised they would contact me when the items are back in stock.A couple days later, I don't see refund. Called the store again. Ok refund might be sitting in the bank. But when I asked about notifying me when the items are back in stock the response was it doesn't work like that. Okay, it is ok to sell the items that is already paid for but it is not ok to notify the customer to make up their mistake even after they promised? Very not happy with the situation and how they handled. And no complaint line or corporate email?

If there was a negative star rating, this would be it.. Ordered a refridgerator at this store where delivery and hook up was a nightmare. If I were you, dont ever buy any appliance at this store unless you are going to bring it to your house and install it yourself. The delivery people went to deliver my refridgerator the 1st time and did not push thru because of our old and cracked front steps. I get it safety 1st. So, I had our front steps fixed. We now have brand new front steps. Then the 2nd time they were supposed to bring the fridge, they said it wont fit thru our hallway door. Mind you, the dimension of our old fridge is the same with the new fridge. It was almost 2 months where we dont have a refridgerator. These people just did'nt want to do their job! This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.If you want a no hassle experience. Go directly to P.C. Richard and Son. They will send somebody to your house to measure the space and will tell you which fridge will fit or not. This "measuring fee" will go to your fridge price if you end up buying the fridge at P.C. Richard and Son. Within 2 weeks, we got our new fridge delivered and installed. No hassle no drama.

If Hell is other people this is where to find it. Even before Covid customer service was a joke. Now they let a few people in at a time, make sure you're wearing a mask and you go in and the place is packed. Social distancing? Doesn't exist here. Staff look you in the eye after noticing you've been in the outdoor furniture section for a while and keep on walking. You try to catch up with one of them for help and they look at you like you're a murder hornet getting ready to sting. If I get sick I know exactly where I got it. This Home Depot. Don't go. It isn't worth it.

A huge thank you to The Home Depot in East Hanover! I called to see if they had coveralls for the nurses at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Stephanie told me to come in and to my surprise they gave me a large donation of coveralls and shoe covers! We greatly appreciate your generosity and big

Just spent 15 minutes waiting in line at the cutting center (November 1, 2019, about 12:30-12:45). One of the nice things about Home Depot is that the first cut is free. The guys who had already been waiting in line through two pages for a saw operator took pity on me and took the handsaw and cut my dowel for me. But...seriously??? Other customers have to do the cutting because the saw operator isn't around? How about leaving a sign if there isn't anyone available?HD is saved from a 1-star review because I have had stuff cut here before, because the electrical manager helped me find the lamp switch I needed today, and because the cashiers were concerned and made pages on our behalf. But: something has got to be done about communications, both among store employees and between the store and customers.

The worst Home Depot. If you are female they completely ignore you. If you manage to find someone working willing to help they absolutely have an attitude and do not know their products. I hate going here, no one should be treated the way I was treated today. Shame on you for being rude to people!

This Home Depot .... the workers need a class on respecting people. They show lack of concern to the customers needs and wants. The paint dept is a joke. Gives the wrong colors on several attempts to buy paint with a nice size chip given to them. The manager treat the workers horrible. " some of the workers " () I WONT BE SHOPPING HERE I RATHER DRIVE DOWN TO VAUXHAUL. Very helpful and attentive in VAUXHAL.

Todd the manager is a complete joke. Attached is a photo how I called in every day and waited on the phone over 14min four days in a row trying to get this issue resolved and he never called me back or answered the phone. I have taken my business from an other company to give it to Home Depot and they stepped all over me. When I asked Alex in Countertops what is the additional charge after my original quote she said, "it's the waterfalls, you see I didn't add it the first time". Ok, I thought it's the additional material for the waterfalls I was getting done on my island. To find out later it was the labor to create the waterfalls. Why didn't she open her mouth and be honest about what she charged me for? Because when I give her the business she said, with Home Depot there was no hidden charges, no installation you just pay for the stone. That is strike one Alex gave me when she knew I had a set budget for the project, and I went over it $1200 to begin with just to give her the business. Than, the day comes to fabricate the stone, she emails and calls me she needs an additional $84 because extra material, and I called her back, trusted her giving her over the phone my credit card information... to find out she ran my card for $593!!! Can you believe that? I called her and emailed her to explain, of course she never called back. Go figure, go to the store and buy a pair of shoes and the cashier runs your card for 6 times more than the cost of your shoes... Furious, I went in the store and an other person gets involved, Robin to tell me I was credited $331 back on my card, she said .."you didn't see the refund yet??" Excuse me, but what happened to the other $180?? And why aren't I charged only the amount I was called and emailed about to begin with?? I spoke to the Manager Todd to make this right after all what they did to me and how Alex manipulated the sale to charge me more and let me tell you, unless, why is he a manager I don't understand.. he said he will call me the next day, guess what have never heard from him. They literally stole money from me, shame on you for taking advantage of people like that. Beware of this store and these people, don't let yourself fooled by these manipulators!! I recommend taking your business Lowe's.

I go into the Home Depot a lot for all kinds of DIY projects as well as for home-improvement services. Sometimes there are a lack of sales associates to help find the right things, Occasionally the items I went in for are not available. Most of the time sales people are helpful and polite. There has been a couple of occasions when a sales assistant was rude. It is a good store in a perfect location on route 10.

Its Home Depot. Its big and well stocked but with this Home Depot I was a bit let down. Normally there are workers in every aisle or area waiting to help out. That wasnt the case the day I came here. I wanted to get some keys made and the attendant left, presumably to help someone else or maybe a bathroom break, but why not have a replacement person come? By now myself and two other people were waiting almost 10 minutes. Thats no good, it wasnt even really that busy. Also the parking lot could use some hands. Carts and dollys to haul big placks or other large items were kinda strewn about. It was a windy day, but it just made the parking lot look neglected. I know Home Depots usually have a pretty big team of staff working, especially on weekends so what happened this visit? This may not be how this Home Depot always is, but this visit was only unfortunately just average.

This 5 star rating is for the excellent service Richard and Samoya gave to my fiancé and I a few days ago. We needed to be pointed in the right direction for a building project and they did not hesitate to spend at least 20 minutes with us walking through the aisles and showing us exactly what we needed. They even suggested a less expensive and easier alternative to complete our project. Thanks so much for saving us time and money Richard and Samoya!

This Home Depot is pretty organized and there is always someone around asking if you need any help. At times, the workers can be short, but it's constantly busy in there and I would get tired of talking to people too after awhile. Otherwise, I find what I need quite easily and get on my way fast... which is efficient for me!
