“I legitimately don't know where to start. I LOVE this store. I grew up in the neighborhood behind it so it has a massive nostalgia factor for me. The Staff has always been great. Bryan is super helpful with the usually very large amount of questions I have. They probably have more Pokemon, One Piece, DBZ, products in stock than most other stores, They also have very hard to find products, including other TCGs, action figures, and comics(which I don't know anything about) . The TCG prices are always just about even with market. Sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower. They also have the only rewards program I've seen in any store like it ever, and I've been to and even reviewed quite a few other stores like it. I just wish they had room to host play events!”

He walked out of there super happy. Times like these we need a little kindness. What may seem small to others can be really big to someone else. I dodnt get her name and I should have but just wanted to share her kindness.”
“This place is a true NJ landmark it has been around since the 1970's or 1980's and that was when on first time to get my first true R/C car. I was a kid and now I am 56 . They have everything you can think of when it comes to the R/C hobby and glad to see they are still are while alot of the other shops have gone away which is real shame because people lost interest, didn't know or couldn't afford the hobby but truly glad this one is still around and going.”

The final playset was as specified. The installer was there when scheduled and worked diligently in the heat to get it done in one day. “This place flew under my radar, perhaps because of the name. It'd be more accurately called Meyer's Trains & Toys, as it's a dream for any train-obsessed kid (or adult for that matter). While the toy selection isn't anything reminicant of the toy stores of the 90s, the owner is great and you'll probably generally find what you're looking for.”
“Everyone is so wonderful here! They have a huge selection of camp stuff and even popular toys too. You can walk in or schedule an appointment. They do wrapping and personalization too!!! I love this store so much! You need to stop by and check it out for yourself. The pricing is awesome too!”

Will definitely be stopping by in the future for baby gifts as well, there was such a large and gorgeous assortment of baby clothes and toys here. “This store is so pretty, clean, and well organized. The book section signs are easy to see and staff is friendly and helpful. Their stationery/journals/gifts section is also beautiful. And even though its footprint is smaller than some other B&Ns, this one still has everything you could want. I drive 30 minutes out of my way on Rt.22 which is a really busy road, just to get there. After you book shop, you can eat Korean at Kpot or burgers at Shake Shack.”

I've been coming here for years to buy for so many people, on so many occasions, and I wouldn't consider another place as this is my one-stop shop! The Red Balloon has everything everyone would ever need; the variety of clothing and the uniqueness of it all. Hats off to the owner for her selections and also Jane, the best sales person, ever! I just love Jane. Jane has been instrumental in helping me every single time I come into the store, with so many outfits. She puts such care, love and passion into everything she does and she does work very hard! I see her helping everyone and I will pick things out but consult her expertise. She will always find things to add to my collection, to add that extra spark. As a result, the receivers of the gifts are always so happy and they send me pictures in the outfits. “This store is immaculate. Everything is so neatly organized and all of the associates I interacted with were extremely patient, helpful, and friendly. There was a clearance/ sale area in the corner and even that was so meticulously maintained. “I have collected Breyer Model Horses since I was 4 years old in 1969. That is over 50 years. As a Child growing up here in Canada, finding Breyers is not as easy as in the USA. After getting married in 1989, we went to Florida for our Honeymoon. What did I want to do? Find Breyers, and I did. It is amazing how these plastic horses can make someone so happy. Now, 53 years later, I have a collection of over 500 or so Breyer models. Of all sizes, from tiny Stablemates and Minny Whinnys to the Traditional ones that I cherish with all of my heart. I want to send a HUGE shoutout to the FABULOUS Customer Service that I receive from Christine at Breyer. She always goes over and above the Norm when it comes to CS. “I had read the reviews and was wary of shopping here. Reviews were partially right. I walked to the desk where two ladies were working. The first woman was brusque and short with me, lot of attitude. Handed me off to a younger woman. The other one was lovely and very helpful. She got out the baby registry form and patiently helped me choose a gift. The merchandise is fun, although $$$, and I was pleased with my purchase.”

We drove from Staten Island, upon entering the workers were dry but once they found out it was her birthday and that my little girl was obsessed with dinosaurs and names them all they were super attentive and generous!
