“I love shopping at this small family owned business. My wife and I come here for produce a couple times per week. Their produce is noticeably better than all of the grocery stores in the area. My guess is they have a longstanding relationship with the local suppliers because they always seem to have the best produce. Additionally the owners are so nice. And as others have mentioned, the homemade kimchi is fantastic. I'm so glad I tried it, as it's a weekly purchase now.”

“Solid local artisan cheese shop. They have a wonderful assortment of hot sauces, drinks, snacks, dips, condiments, etc. Their OG Krystal? crystal? Is sublime. I was not aware cheese could have a chewy texture to it. That may not sound appetizing but it was worth every cent!Come here for the grilled cheese it’s a little wait but worth it! Anytime I come the staff is knowledgeable but more-so helpful.I was surprised they sold Maldon Sea Salt Flakes I had in Scotland that was not an arm and a leg.I bought a bunch of things here for my wedding anniversary and my husband loved everything!This would be a better cheese pull video but I didn’t eat it until I walked about 20 minutes home. *just to give you an idea of how delicious their grilled cheese is!”

“This little restaurant is incredible. Not a fancy place, but home cooked by the family. We now go once a week. Menu changes daily. The 85 year-old grandma and her family start cooking at 4am each day. Amazing....All the favorites from the old country. Soups, fresh baked bread, ravioli, chicken, meatballs, sausage, pastas, too many to name and desserts like canolis and homemade cookies. I rarely say this, but this is the best Italian food I ever tasted. Plus they will pack up containers to take home. Just like my grandma's. Incredible and very nice people. Rare find.”

“My family and I have been shopping at Adam's for countless years. The store is a small hidden gem of a corner deli stocked with wonderfully, authentic, Polish delicacies. The food is incredibly consistent, and you would be hard-pressed to find better pierogi or kielbasa. The kielbasa is perfectly smoked and the pierogi have an excellent texture to them. My friends with Polish backgrounds also shop here regularly, insistent that there is nothing more authentic than this store in the area. The service is fast and efficient and the store is well-kept and clean. They also speak English, so communicating is never difficult. Recommended!”

“Consistent the food is always great. The butcher cuts of meat are exceptional. They always cut the cold cuts thin. I've been buying food from A & S for a while and I'm never disappointed. So glad there is a real Italian pork store near me. Grilled artichoke hearts are delicious. Stuffed peppers to die for. I just had the pasta flagiol as close to my Grandma's I've ever had. “This is a kosher meat restaurant with a small supermarket attached to the back. We almost always fly out of Newark airport from our home base in Baltimore, Maryland. This kosher meat restaurant is ideal for us as we like to eat before our trip Just in case they don't have kosher meals for us On the airplane which sometimes happens. The service is speedy they have good air conditioning and the food is delicious. We usually get a few pastrami subs to go.”

“Good bottle refill shop is my favorite store. They sell everything I need for my home on a daily basis and great gift items. I have been buying almost all Christmas, birthday, Valentine’s Day, etc gifts here for the past 3 years. I have not met a single person who doesn’t love bar soaps from good bottle, poppy & pout lip balms, or Dip shampoo/conditioner bars as a useful and great gift. Good bottle refill shop is a unique shopping experience where you can bring your empty containers and refill with cleaning, body care, laundry, pantry, etc items by weight. Since it’s by weight you don’t need to worry about what volume/size your container is or how full it is when you bring it (genius!). There is ALWAYS someone nice to help you - so if you have kids, lots to carry, or are in a rush - someone can help fill your containers for you. The store is always clean and well stocked with great products that support circular economy. My favorite products are the magnolia lilac laundry detergent (smells amazing, super concentrated so it lasts a long time) and citrus dish soap (great for people with dry skin). Deanna, the owner and founder of good bottle, takes care to make sure she supports great brands and is very intentional about supporting a circular economy. She does her homework so that us customers can feel good about what we buy and that is very special and one of the reasons I love coming here. Not only that, good bottle refill shop is located inside the General Store Shops & Cafe which has cheeses, a bakery, and lots of great merchandise. It's easy to spend hours in here looking at all the vinyl records and snacks! They also have a loyalty program so as you shop you get points which you can redeem for $10 off inside the entire store! Overall, this place is a great store owned by lovely women with lots of passion for building community with their customers. Every time I come here I feel special and like a member of the community, even though I live pretty far. We are very lucky to have this store in NJ!”

“Matko boska! The selection and prices here are very good. I will return to this establishment and Polish district overall. I would however check the expiration date on things to make sure they aren't already expired before you buy. I bought about 50 items and I only found 1 or 2 that were expired but a few that would be expiring within the next 60 days. The other problem here is the lady that works there is from the communist Poland era so don't expect any good customer service skills. She seems annoyed at having to work here and isn't willing to help much, probably didn't get any Biden bucks.”
