“@The NJ Traveler Honestly, this just sounds like one bad experience every time I’ve been here. It’s been nothing but good vibes and great service. People are so quick to judge off one moment but there’s clearly a lot more positive reviews than negative. I love this store. Always got their back. And every store has cameras that’s pretty normal. It’s for safety not to watch customers in a weird way. I’ve been there plenty of times never felt uncomfortable at all.”

Family owned Bodega been here for years & they know your name, remember what you order, treat you like family!!
They started serving hot Spanish food not 2 long ago and it's 100 million times better than anything you'd ever tasted before!
If you haven't tried their food or sandwiches, stop by one day and see for yourself! Never disappointed!
Friendly atmosphere and they always have a way to cheer you up if they see you're having a bad day!

“I absolutely LOVE this place. It is a bit pricey, however...compared to Whole Foods etc in the area, its reasonable. They are hardworking and the staff is TOP NOTCH. The owner is extremely impressionable, as he gets to know all his customers.
And they are always open to expand the level of variety because of such the diverse community they serve. I travel an hour, just because I Love this store, the quality and staff.

“Very good prices for Imported Italian items. I love that I can get cheeses, cured meets and olives at a reasonable price here. There are pastas and snacks you won't find in the supermarkets. You really can't beat their prices on guanciale and pancetta and they have a lot of choices for Torrone. The owners were really nice as well, which made me want to buy more.”

“They make cold and hot sandwiches. I mainly get cold sandwiches and they're always good. Fresh tasting ingredients. The dudes making the sandwiches are nice and friendly. They offer different choices of bread which is different compared to other bodegas. You can choose potato, Portuguese, hoagie, or I think cibatta. They also have a nice drink selection as well. Since its a bodega there are other products but I just go for sandwiches.”

“My time here was total fun. My friend and I went here to do last-minute grocery shopping and we had so much fun with other customers and the cashier who severed us. Best part, this is a corner store about two blocks away from my friend's house. Also, cameras are all installed in this store for security purposes. Lastly, this store has all great stuff for grocery shopping. It was truly an ideal experience shopping here at Brothers Grocery & Deli.”
“I went when it was not very busy on a Tuesday morning. The staff was very helpful and there were people who were fluent in English, much better than I can say about my 0% Portuguese. Spanish seems to work as well. In any event the people and the products were great.”
“This place is one of the best bodegas in that area!! So many things in this store for whatever you're looking for!! Batteries, medicine, phone chargers, groceries, diapers, etc. They have more cakes and snacks then most places and they're sandwiches are THE BEST! Ask anyone around, it's where we all go! And they're insanely affordable, which all of us love! Especially in these pricey times! And everyone that works there is super friendly! “I gotta say most papi store sandwiches don't have enough meat and cheese. But they hook it up. However they are cheap w. The Mayo, and the oil vinegar and they skimp out on the salt n pepper. So if you plan on eating while walking to the bus or the light rail just know you sandwich is going to be rather dry. Also quite often I find my sandwiches in either day old bread or they're cutting them ahead of time and not storing them properly. Their lettuce and tomato doesn't have a soggy old tast so I deeply appreciate this. Ask for everything else, if u plan on getting plantains, onions, fresh yucca, stuff like that go to a real store. I've had some bad luck let's just say. They don't have the really good candy like Chico sticks so if your in a hunt go on 6th st behind kfc and totao barbershop. If you plan on buying anything in that store it's highway robbery. And they don't accept wic. but they take food stamps and they enforce the no hotfood law?.”
