I really enjoyed my experience here. Everyone is nice and help. Everyone I met went above and beyond to help us and made sure we had a great experience. JVS assisted me in studying for Pharmacy tech. They help with education, job search, job applications, and interviews! I personally am glad to have gone here.

JVS in East Orange is one of the best places to be in the New Jersey. I did some classes there and believe you me I was very satisfied with the tutoring. The administration was on point(shout out to Ms Shannon), the lecturer(Ms Krug- I can't complain-she's talented, Ms Lourdes Rojas- she gave me the confidence to master my abilities and skills to show the world what I am made of in getting my job.
Guys, if you looking to add value to your life, go to JVS- your one stop value corner.
I finally got a job I could work with my license in building my career. Thanks JVS, God bless the Staffs

I can't speak for others, since it's been a while, but when I was there, this is what happened.
When I did piece work, it was $0.75 an hour when it was 3 hours & if it was 8 hours, it was $2 every hour; this was when I was putting items together, it depend on much money was added to that. When I was giving everyone their work, that's when I made minimum wage. There are some people who complain that they're making $15 an hour, but when I worked there as a young adult now 35 on disability, that was unheard of. When I did piece work, I had a deadline not to be there past 10:30 AM, but when I worked for minimum wage, I had to be awake at 7 & be there by 8.
Example, when I put Gillette razors together, it was $0.65 for every 100 I put together; it varied from product to product. Most of the people there were on disabilities when I was there & decided to stay there because they couldn't find real work, while others did look to find a job. There were others that already had a job, but decided to work there for one reason or another.
Anyway, I can't speak for anyone else, but that was my experience there.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to JVS for their invaluable assistance in helping me prepare for and obtain my GED.Everyone there was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable and I’m truly grateful.Being able to have in person classes at no cost with amazing teachers made me eager to accomplish my goal.I’d like to specifically commend my teacher, Tonia Hobbs, for her exceptional teaching skills, support and dedication to my success. Her passion for teaching was evident in every lesson, going the extra mile to ensure we understood the material.I can't forget to mention and give thanks to Eli and Bob for their help, each in their own unique style.I’m incredibly proud to have earned my GED, specially English being my second language and I could not have done it without all your help.Thank you again, team JVS.

I went to JVS because it was hard for me finding work disabled and I believed they really wanted to help people like me. I was wrong, they did not give a damn about me or my disability. When COVID hit they shut down operations, moved all workshops to Montclair and left me without a job and without work I got no Medicaid help with my bills. JVS used me and abandoned me when I needed help the most - Black Patient.

I have a friend of mine who I met on Instagram who works here named Alexis Sears and her and I are taking things slowly and seeing where it goes. Anyways: Phenomenal service, I recommend it if one day someday my future kid or future kids need services and if they’re eligible for services here. Alexis Sears and I give this place a combined four thumbs up.

Had to do a pre-placement stay here back in 2013 and it was terrible, staff was judgmental, nasty attitude and acted like they didn't want to help you. Building was also too dark, damp and old, seemed like one of those old school asylums they used to put the mentally handicapped in. Glad I never had to rely on them to get me a job or else I'd still be waiting.
