Ramada by Wyndham East Orange is an older hotel with mixed reviews. The grounds and facade are well kept, and the location is convenient. Guests noted that the air conditioning worked well and the beds were firm, allowing for a good sleep. However, the hotel faces several issues. The rooms are in need of renovation, with peeling tubs, worn-out mattresses, and cleanliness concerns such as unclean carpets and pests like roaches and mice. The hotel no longer serves breakfast, and the restaurant is closed, which has disappointed some guests. Additionally, only one of the two elevators is operational, and the elevators are slow with broken indicators. The hallways are dark but have extra lights for safety. Overall, while the hotel has some positives, its outdated condition and cleanliness problems suggest it needs renovation and better maintenance.
The staff were very lovely and helpful. They helped me when I was down. I am not going to say mean things about the place in public but let's say I do not recommend.

Absolutely no… dirty, stains, terrible smell everywhere, dirty bathroom, homeless in the lobby smoking, scary, just don’t go here..

Infestation of bed bugs, filthy hotel. The staff at the front desk refused to refund my son his money. I contacted the health department on his behalf.
