Definitely need better workers. I was paying for my food and I look up and the man (worker) was staring me down as I was checking out. So I asked him if he wanted to come stand next to me while I was checking out? He became very disrespectful, waved his hands in my face. We exchanged words, it took for a female co worker to come and check him. Last time shopping there. People like that will have you sitting in Prison.

Bought some fried chicken and it’s was rotten to the bone brought it back and got a baked chicken same thing never again will I buy cooked food here and definitely reporting this to the health department

They sell rotten meat. They refunded me, but they shouldn't be selling rotten meat in the first place. It was supposed to be good until 7/24/25. I bought an hour ago, opened it up, and it smelled like decomposed meat. Save yourself from a disease and don't buy here.

The pharmacy is great.
Would be great if the ventilation in the seafood area was updated since it's so close to the entrance. Currently not very welcoming.

This ShopRite is open 24/7 but only 1 machine open and you usually have to wait 20 minutes to checkout, come here to waste time!

It was hard to find,it looked like it was under construction, dirty ,unorganized, security all over the place? Suspicious characters in front of store,I was just happy to get my items and leave!

It’s usually always crowded. It’s quite disorganized. It’s not a nice atmosphere. But you can get foods and they have a halal meats section.

I find this Shop Rite a bit confusing to shop at the carts that don't work are not labeled, the carts that do work are hard to move around the store with bad wheels. Rayquan in the Deli Department is good at his job and he works alone, he's always polite, well mannered and professional in handling the food no matter how many customers are waiting or the order machines are not functioning. Some spices are located in one place in the store and other spices are in another part of the store. The labels for prices are not clearly posted in the freezer and often on the shelved items as well. Entermann's bakery goods are on sale but not specified exactly which ones are on sale. Shop Rite parking lot while under construction make it difficult for pedestrians move through the parking lot safely with no pavement markings; even before the reconstruction they didn't design the parking lot with pavement markings for pedestrians; drivers even look confused which way to drive in the parking lot. Self checkout lane customers don't know where to form the line; and cashier assisted lane customers don't know where to stand so it's known they are in line but not blocking the walk way for customers still shopping. Customer service workers are rude, act like they don't want to be bothered with questions especially when they don't know the answer to your question and they have to radio to someone else to get an answer for the customer.
I also found the quality of some foods to be less then it used to be at Shop Rite stores. I found spoiling food in the refrigerators; it sat out and was put back in the refrigerator, bones in the deli meat came from manufacturer that way, frozen vegetables look burned you can't eat them, small not so fresh bakery cakes with higher prices then normal as Shop Rite used to be competitive with a formal bakery options, and now not so much. The security propped up a open pocketbook to see if someone would pick it up as a set up for theft. I don't know if it's because the community it serves but I see a big difference in other community Shop Rite stores.

Up date its ok but a new one will soon be built i no longer go here for cakes because they dont have better cream which is so light and creamy not to sweet I go to livingston shoprite for my cakes now people are a bit unprofessional witnessed cashiers speaking in cuss words about fighting over a man while i was checking out they were y talking right over me the registers were next to each other I normally go to self checkout no respect for customers I don't buy my daily items from here I prefer Newark or Morristown but I have gotten some amazing cakes in past years
