“Can’t think of a nicer guy in a business like this. The owner Nick helped me out tremendously for a bunch of things I needed and kept recommending more to really complete my trip. Prices are incredibly fair and if you talk to Nick you’ll get a couple cool stories from him as well. I’ve already recommended this store to friends and family who I’ll most likely join if they head over here. I highly recommend anyone looking to go to a thrift store to come here first before anywhere else.”

589 5th Ave, New York“Finally getting around to this review after 2 years. I wanted something very special that no one else has and boy did Erstwhile deliver!!! Being from Texas spending that kind of money placing a online order made me a bit nervous. These people provided top notch white glove service and way over delivered on every level. I HIGHLY recommend. Now I want a special necklace to go with my rings!”
“NAZMIYAL is the best source for antique and vintage rugs and carpets. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, Jason himself is an amazing dealer who handpicks each and every piece in his stunning collection and is happy to educate the consumer, not just make a sale. I always trust his experience and great eye for all my spaces!”

“The Missing Link is a gem in NYC. I went in to find cufflinks and a stud set as accessories on a tuxedo for my wedding; the collection was incredible and I found the perfect, unique pieces. I had been to several department stores where the selection was lacking, but not here at The Missing Link. The experience was enhanced by Michael who was engaging, patient, and courteous. Highly recommend.”
“There is something adorable about a shop that specializes in incongruous antiques such as vintage smoking items, lighters, and ashtrays as well as vintage games and candy.Named after the owner's dog this little shop is mighty. You may not realize what you need from this shop but if not a Dunhill lighter perhaps the Mad Magazine board game? Perhaps just a snack of some vintage candy and a Bazooka gum-flavored soda. You won’t know until less you go. So just walk in, this shop doesn’t disappoint”
“What a great place! If you have something you need to sell, they'll give you a great price, if you're looking to buy something, you'll find wonderful items there plus there are auctions monthly where new items always turn up. The people that work there are super nice and helpful. It's a wonderful experience l.”

And what an improvement given the various choices she offered . And with a guarantee to come back if it fails/falls off.Def will be back with other beads in my vast collection. Go here first and only!!”

445 Park Ave #1, New York“Love love love this store, everything is beautiful and I want to take a million things home every time I go. I try to visit whenever I go to NY. I have bought gorgeous sterling Tiffany frames, and a beautiful glass vase with silver overlay which makes me smile whenever I look at it. The salespeople are lovely as well. The prices are not inexpensive, but the merchandise is beautiful, and they will work with you a little bit, especially if you are purchasing more than one item. I absolutely recommend stopping here when you are in the area!”
“Was looking to sell a couple of pieces. Went to their website and sent an email for a quote. No response. I called the office. They gave me a number to text photos and I did so. No response. I sent a follow up text the next day. No response. I waited two additional days and still no response.I can understand if you’re not interested in buying, but at least have the courtesy of giving me a reply. To ignore me like this is completely unprofessional. I don’t see how they can offer same day evaluations when I can’t even get a callback.Edit: Adam called me after the review and we were able to work something out. Thanks for getting back to me.”

610 Lafayette Ave Rear, Hawthorne“This place is absolutely incredible. I think I could spend 8 hours in here and not see everything. I was shocked at how big the space is, what a hidden treasure. I went in on a Saturday and it was a little busy but that's normal. The gentlemen working were two of the nicest guys I have ever met, which makes me want to shop here all the time. They were so kind with every customer. Once it was my turn, not only did one of the gentlemen wrap each one of my purchases in paper then boxed them, but when I got home I realized he also removed the tags, saving me that chore. I will be back - often.”

I love the atmosphere of this place, and you can sometimes see them making stationary on antique letterpresses when you enter the shop. A must-see on any visit to the South Street Seaport historic district. They also do custom stationery and business cards.”
“After finding this store online several years ago, and talking cross-country to Jimmy several times - it was such a joy to come and spend an hour or more looking at and trying multiple pens my husband and I were considering. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - it felt like an hour spent with friends! We bought several items for ourselves and at least one gift!”

240 W 10th St, New York“What a find! How I never noticed this gem on 10th street before is a nagging question for me, but all wrongs have been righted and I know I’ll be shopping here for years to come. So many fabulous finds! I found a perfect string of peaks with warm luster and a vintage black slip/nightgown and I adore both. I want to go back when I have more time to dig through the vintage handbags, knits and scarves. The space is small, but is packed to the brim with fabulous finds. The Madame has a discerning eye and there’s no junk amongst the treasures.More importantly, drop in for community! The customers attracted to this special spot were warm and friendly. Great conversations and connection happened. This isn’t just vintage shopping; it’s an experience. Can’t wait to go back”
“My husband's diamond ring was stolen during a move. I searched for a replacement that would somewhat remind us of the vintage ring that was lost. I was delighted to find a ring beautiful on the Israel Rose website. Their customer service was superb - the ring was sized and sent to me more quickly than expected.”

12 - 5:30PM
6718 Park Ave, Guttenberg“This store is quite a find! It is an antique store, jammed full of treasures... mostly glass objects, some larger furniture display cases (all filled with things), rhinestone jewelry, occasionally some unique clothing and much more for you to discover. The store has been there for nearly 50 years and Betty Jo, the owner, is almost always there to answer any questions and tell you where she got everything. (Her memory is amazing, for a 94 year old, plus she's just a delight.) I suggest stopping by and just browsing for awhile, because there's lots to see and discover... at very reasonable prices. As they always say: When in doubt, check it out.”
“Just saw a bad review and felt it necessary to say I GUARANTEE THERES MORE TO IT. cause not only is this woman one of the most helpful honest people I've ever dealt with who has no problem explaining or answering any questions but I know for a fact that their prices paid are without a doubt HIGHER THAN EVERY PLACE YES EVERY PLACE IVE DEALT WITH IN NORTH JERSEY AND IM REFERRING TO GOLD: SILVER AND COINS..”
