“NACA can be considered a tough program but for the right reasons, the journey has been long but worth while. resources have been very informative and the help along the journey has been much appreciative.”
“We have worked with the team at PBP since 2018 and have seen our events grow and reach new families and partners each year and we are looking forward to continued future successes!”
“Give chances is an excellent establishment in which students collaborate, learn, and overall just have a great time. Not only is it the perfect opportunity for kids to socialize, but it also allows for an excellent learning experience.”
“A small intimate venue that has great sound proofing. I had the privilege of seeing Marcus Gilmore and others during Jazz Fest and it was one of my favorite venues. You can choose the floor or upstairs for an arial view. It’s a tight squeeze so make sure to arrive early for a good seat! Highly recommend!”
“I loved visiting the Brooklyn Cat Cafe. Truly a great experience. You get to meet cats of all different personalities! I went twice and ended up adopting a lovely cat. You can tell how much thought and care the staff and adoption coordinator put into making sure every cat is healthy, safe and finds a good home. As a nonprofit, they do so much with the resources they have, and it really shows.”
“I stumbled upon this cute place while exploring the city. I had never heard of a zine before but was in awe when I walked in. It’s easy to forget about time and get lost in all the zines and books. The staff is really kind and passionate about the arts. Savannah really took her time to show me what Zines are all about. I was really inspired by her. I can’t wait to come back in the fall when I’m in the city.”
“North Bergen Purr is absolutely amazing—I’m so grateful our paths crossed. The staff and community are incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive. My family and I are currently fostering two sweet kitties, and it’s been such a beautiful and rewarding experience.
Everyone at North Bergen Purr truly cares about the well-being of the cats and the people involved. You can feel the love and dedication in everything they do. I really hope we can continue fostering and being part of this wonderful community. Thank you for all the work you do!”
“IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE, THE ATTENTION OF THE STAFF WAS INCREDIBLE AND THE DOCTOR WAS VERY KIND TO INFORM ME EVERY DETAIL OF DARIUS ABOUT HIS CONDITION. GOD BLESS YOU FOR SUCH EXCELLENT WORK.”
“The mission at PAWS to help elderly/disabled individuals keep their pets by providing fostering, vet transport, dog walking and litter maintenance. Most of these people have had their animals for quite a number of years, so you're not going to get kittens and puppies if that's what you're after. This organization is an amazing testimony to how having an animal as a companion can sustain someone even in the midst of a diagnosis. Orientation is done via Zoom, so you don't have to leave your home and volunteering here can be very fulfilling.”
“The Park St Y is clean, well organized, equipment is new and there’s a great selection, the staff is always visible and friendly, and there are a host of classes available. Great YMCA!!!!”
“Amazing hub for out of town runners like me who want to run in Central Park. Lockers, water fountain, changing rooms, and bathroom all kept clean by hardworking cleaning staff. The employees I’ve interacted with are all helpful and friendly. Be aware there are no showers, but I always bring disposable XL “shower” wipes.”
“First time I walked into Bottomless closet I received very good resume assistance, I also had 2 outfits for my jobs interview coming up, two months later I got a job and they gave me 3 more outfits of my preference. The staff are the best, they take their time with each client. Really recommended.”
“The Clemente isn't just a space; it's a cultural landmark that's been fueling the arts scene in the LES (Loisaida) for over three decades, standing tall as a pillar of Puerto Rican and Latinx pride.
The Clemente is a microcosm where the city's energy is channeled into a celebration of diversity, with every performance and workshop echoing different communities and experimentation. This place is serious about giving a voice to BIPOC artists, offering them not just a stage, but a supportive springboard. The programming is brilliant. From thought-provoking film screenings to electrifying live gigs, as New York as it gets. It's a stone's throw away from the F train Delancey stop. the building itself is an architectural jewel. an open labyrinth. They seem to have some of those amazing spaces available for rent.”
“Today we recently visited the City Green Farm Eco-Center in Clifton, NJ, and it was an unforgettable experience. This hidden gem is a testament to sustainable living and environmental education. The farm is beautifully maintained, featuring vibrant gardens and diverse plant life that immediately immerse you in nature.
The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They offer engaging tours and workshops that not only educate but also inspire visitors to embrace eco-friendly practices. I particularly enjoyed learning about their community programs and initiatives aimed at promoting local agriculture and healthy eating.
The Eco-Center also has a delightful farm stand where you can purchase fresh, organic produce and handmade goods. It's the perfect spot to support local farmers while enjoying the fruits of their labor.
Overall, City Green Farm Eco-Center is a wonderful place for families, students, and anyone interested in sustainability. I highly recommend visiting to connect with nature and learn more about eco-friendly living!”
“Thank you Estonian House and Eurocircle for hosting the Eurovision watch party! I’ve been a fan of the competition for ages, but Ive never had so much fun watching it (it’s actually not as much fun right at the Eurovision arena). Everyone was so nice and welcoming, I truly felt at home! Thank you!”
“This is the best VFW in the state if you’re looking for a space to rent !! Had my wedding reception here and from step 1 Jesse was nothing but helpful and excited as if I were his own daughter. He made sure the space was able to transform into my dream venue and gave us free rein over what we wanted the place to look like. The building is all freshly renovated and is honestly one of the prettiest VFWs I’ve ever seen. When the day of the wedding came everything went wrong on my end and the day was chaotic. I called to let Jesse know and he immediately had the Worlds best bartender Mike call me and assure that the night would run smoothly. Once we got there the party was on, Mike went above & beyond and my family was raving about him afterwords. VFW Lodi made my wedding day one of the best days of my life. I would recommend them 1000 times over!!!”

“We got displaced due to a fire. We were scared, confused and tired. We really appreciate the good people that took or information when we got displaced due to a fire. The gentleman even asked me the name of my cats while we were waiting for the firefighters to put out the fire. I was so worried about if they would be able to stop the fire before it made it to our apartment. They were even able to find us a hotel that was pet friendly. They followed up with us when we needed an extension from the city at the hotel. Thank you to Christan for all of her kindness and patience. People were angry and just as stressed as we were. Christian explained things to us and we understood what The Red Cross does. She called to follow up with us. We appreciate her so, so, so much and are thankful for sitting with her that day. We appreciate The Red Cross for being so caring and empathy.”
“Tiny store absolutely brimming with clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry. You will find some very good bargains but you will also see items priced high. Couldn’t really figure out the pricing structure and I could have asked but sales staff was very busy.
Only a limited number of folks allowed in at one time. Be prepared to jockey for position to go through the racks.”
“In the heart of New York City, UNICEF USA stands as a testament to the power of global solidarity and compassion. This organization is a driving force behind the mission to ensure that every child—no matter where they are born—has a fair chance at life. UNICEF USA works tirelessly to support the world’s most vulnerable children, rallying the American public to join in this noble cause. From providing emergency relief to advocating for children’s rights, their relentless efforts have helped save and improve more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. With nearly eight decades of experience, UNICEF’s presence in over 190 countries has been pivotal in shaping a better future for children worldwide. In NYC, UNICEF’s commitment shines brightly, reflecting the city’s own spirit of diversity and resilience. It’s an organization where hope is turned into action, and every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact on the lives of children across the globe.”

“About 40 years ago, my wife and I were able to live first in I.House and then in Annex. I was able to have fun with not only my Japanese friends but also people from various countries. I still have vivid memories of the many events and services we provided with you. Even now, I continue to keep in touch with my friends from that time in Japan. I want young people to live and eat together with people from all over the world in places like I•House and foster world peace.”
“All things must have a beginning. Except circles. But, the High Line is a line, so it begins here. Except, it also ends here. I started from the other end, so would this be the beginning or end. As I then walked back the way I came, this became neither. It was simply a midpoint. I don't think that this is the midpoint of the High Line though... that would be silly having a middle at an end.”
“I can't remember the lady's name but she is so helpful and I thank God for her she really helped me out in my time of need and crisis bless her and the entire staff at salvation army in Paterson New Jersey”
“The locker rooms are always spotless, the pool is crystal clear, and the staff are so friendly. It honestly feels more like a resort than a gym. I love coming here!”
“We took the iconic spots in central park tour with Juan on a dry winter Saturday. Absolutely fantastic, I would recommend this tour to anyone. We were given headphones so we could easily hear no matter if there was a performer or just if we fell to the back of the crowd. Juan was an amazing guide. Please take this tour!”
“I work right across the street from there and I used to work in that building in the cafeteria too many years ago great building you need ID to get in and they do a lot of wonderful things there in that building all over the world it's part of the United Nations”
“Capturing Caroline and Tyler's wedding at The Union Club Of The City Of New York was an absolute pleasure and a highlight of my career as a wedding filmmaker. From the moment I stepped into this iconic venue, I knew the day was going to be something special. And I wasn't disappointed. The elegance and charm of The Union Club provided the perfect backdrop for Caroline and Tyler's celebration. Every room tells a story, and the rich history of the venue added a unique character to the film that you just can't replicate elsewhere. The lighting, the architecture, and the overall ambiance were a cinematographer's dream, allowing me to capture stunning visuals without the need for many adjustments. What truly set The Union Club apart, however, was the staff. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate made not only the couple's day run smoothly but also significantly aided in my filmmaking process. They were always on hand to assist, ensuring that every part of the venue was accessible and ready for filming. Their coordination with my team allowed us to capture the day without any hitches, making our work not just easier but more enjoyable.I cannot recommend The Union Club Of The City Of New York enough to couples searching for a wedding venue that offers both visual splendor and top-notch service. My experience filming at this venue was nothing short of fantastic, thanks to its stunning setting and the invaluable support of the staff. If you're looking for a venue that will leave a lasting impression on you and your guests, and make for an unforgettable wedding film, The Union Club should be at the top of your list.”

“They have a food bank 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (Check during holidays though). They are very friendly, and I love volunteering here when I'm able. They have a church service on Sunday, and other activities during the week including after school club. Everyone is compassionate in how they serve, and I'm glad they're here helping the community.”
“I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the YMCA, especially with Liz and Lilianna! Liz’s Pilates classes have been nothing short of life-changing for me. Thanks to her expert guidance, I’ve been able to get off pain medication for my back. The way she focuses on core strength has made such a difference, not just in how my body feels, but in my overall mental health as well. I also love her Yoga class, which I just started going to!!
On the cardio side, Lilianna has made working out a blast! Her classes are so fun and engaging that I almost forget I’m exercising. I’ve always loved dancing, and she turns every session into a joyful experience that’s great for both body and mind. I just started Zumba strong with her and it's quickly becoming one of my favs too!
Shout out to Kathy as well for her Yoga class!!! I just started going and this class has helped so much with my sleeping habits too. It truly relaxes and stretches me out and since it's a late night class puts me in a relaxing mood ready for a good night sleep! She really helps us all individually out!
If you’re looking for a place that truly supports your health and wellness journey, the YMCA with Liz, Lilianna, and Kathy is where you need to be!!”
