When my cousin raved about going here, I had high hopes. Once I got there, however, those hopes were dashed. The first sign something was wrong was the moldy smell coming from the entrance/foyer. Then, when you walk in, there's a tiny sign you could very easily miss if you walk by too fast that says "Cash Only Since 5/5/2022"...so if you don't have cash (like we didn't), you get to walk down over the railroad tracks to the Bank of America in order to get money to pay for your food. The free chips they bring out to start you off before the meal aren't salted, and neither is the near-liquid salsa, which was too spicy. Once your order gets taken, be prepared to wait. While you wait, try not to look up, because you'll see most if not all of the ceiling tiles are in need of replacement, festering with water damage. Oh, and if you dare ask about how much longer until the food comes, be prepared to be met each time with a snappier, more annoyed-sounding response from the one waitress who works there. The man who seated us seemed a bit friendlier. There is apparently only one person who is cooking in the back, so if you're in any rush, be prepared to wait. Once the food did come, it was underwhelming, both in size and taste. For the prices they charge, I expected much larger portions. I can spend less at Chipotle and get more food. Before I left, I used the bathroom, which looked to not have been cleaned in a while. If this is how they keep the areas the customers see, what do the areas we don't see look like? Overall, this isn't a place I would rush to again, or recommend to anyone.

Have been visiting this restaurant for over 30 years, never once was disappointed with the food, best place to go on a cold or a rainy day, now our kids go with their families.Vegetarian options: My wife is a vegetarian she has enough dishes to enjoy

Fantastic. The best authentic Mexican food in Bergen County. Food is always fresh and delicious. Whether your into beef, chicken, pork, beans or napalitos, (spelling?) Can't go wrong. Jalapeños soup amazing. Margaritas are the absolute best anywhere I've traveled. Fresh squeezed lime juice makes a difference. For dessert Tre Leche cake or key lime pie you can't go wrong. Been going to there since approximately 1979. Huge fan of everyone who makes Fiesta Hut possible!

By far the best authentic Mexican food ever. I’ve been patronizing Fiesta Hut since the original location on Route 4 in Paramus. Now it’s exactly he sane delicious food, the same female owner and food is just the BEST !!!Vegetarian options: Can eliminate the meat and choose beans and more cheeseKid-friendliness: Know dd can definitely dine hereParking: We always found street parkingWheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wheelchair accessible

Such a fun atmosphere!! Parking is very limited so be prepared for valet. Food portions are plentiful and comes out fast. Definitely sensory overload so if you have someone in your family that is sensitive to noise, distractions, lights, sounds etc I would avoid. It can get overwhelming but it is sooooo fun!

Food is great don't get me wrong, but customer service is the absolute worst. Went there, ordered and an hour goes by and they haven't even given us WATER and SPRITE. Tried to call a server, got ignored. (Guy walks straight past us.) Entree comes out 40 minutes of waiting. One hour 30 minutes into dinner and finally the food comes out and we finish in 5 minutes. (Keep in mind, we have complained twice and each time they say "It'll be out soon.") Even people that arrived after us had gotten their food, ate, and left before we were even served. Waste of time.

Excellent food. You get a good amount of stuff for the price. Best authentic tacos and burritos I've had around the area. The place isn't much to look at but that's not why you go.
