Meadowlands Sports Complex is a fantastic and wonderful stadium venue for major concerts, sports events, and kids' events. The inside is clean and organized, with security visible and staff actively cleaning. For large shows, the flow of people is handled well, with concession lines not out of control and managed with fast courtesy. It is the home stadium for the New York Giants and Jets football teams. However, the location is very far from everything. For big events, parking and the Uber area can be chaos, with a lack of control over parking spots where people sometimes place chairs and tents. The parking fee is considered ridiculous at $40, though it is not charged for smaller kids' events. After major shows, it can take up to two hours to exit the area. Parking lot amenities can be disgusting. For concerts, there is often a lot of queue at the food booths. A common suggestion is to arrive early for big events, use nearby mall facilities for eating, and be prepared for large crowds when departing, especially when using public transit.
Saw Metallica at the meadowlands. Absolutely awesome jam packed stadium m. What a thrill. I was in the pit/ floor area. The view was clear. Spacious outdoor arena. The sound systems were amazing and the noise level was rocking!!
