Had a great time at the fair. It was a bit crowded and some rides took forever, they really want to punish you for not buying the VIP pass to skip the lines. Everyone having to pay $38.99 (plus $3 convenience fee on ticketmaster) kinda stinks because I wasn’t interested in the rides mainly wanted the food and to play some games so I’d like the rides to go to tickets or a bracelet. Opening at 2pm I thought was late. The magic, bike and hypnotist shows were good, the pirate show was dreadful and I didn’t watch the Jurassic park one. Food was good normal fair price. Getting in took a bit they could’ve had more metal detectors working. Overall good.

If you have kids over 36 inch (usually over 3 years old), then you should go! They gonna have lots of fun in kiddy land and petting zoo. Will suggest to go after 4:30, when temperatures starts to cool down, and also most of the shows start after 4:45. I love Stunt show and high wire pirate, kids enjoyed jurassic show and piggy racing. lemonade was great.

Had a really good time at the state fair. The all day $40 fun pass is well worth it if you actually get on all of the rides. We also enjoyed the Magic Show. They have other shows to watch for free as well but overall I felt like a kid again.

I think this year was better then last since the rides r included in the ticket price. Cheaper to buy tickets online thru TicketMaster. Offer a "fast pass" to skip ride lines, must pay more. Ok shows. Carneys always heckling the crowds, which is fun to watch. The rides r very precarious, buyer beware! All & all it's a fun fair.

The place is nice. I went last years and I had a better experience than this year. In the website it does not say that it oppens at 2:00 pm so me and my family were waiting outside. By the way, finding the parking is soooooooooo frustating. Literally every access was closed and they expected you to go behind the stadium. The parking was very very difficult believe me, I almost left because of that. Also, they see everything that you have and make you throw away any food or water. Everything inside is so expensive. One cup of lemonade is $12 and believe that in summer you will need it. There are many shows which are very interesting. I have no complain about it and I saw the hypnosis, the dinosaur, the magic, and the transformer bumble bee. However, you need to go early and reserve a chair. Only the hypnosis is covered frrom the sun. There are many many games which I think are enjoyable. However, the lines for them after 6 are ridicuosly long even with the "fast pass." Me and my family literally waited for more than two hours in the roller coaster line and a lot of people get in the line in front of us. We told the staff that they get in the line but they did not CARE AT ALL. The guy in the blue circle let them go in front of us and played the roller coaster (CAR). I also think they allowed many other people get in the line because the line did not seem long to wait more than two hours. Finally the fireworks were nice, but we expect them at 10 and not 11 which did not agree what the organizers said. Also, there were not many variety of foods. It was all fast food and as I said before ... overpriced. Moreover, there are many games that are not included in the prize and believe me that they are too overpriced. For instance, for $10 dollars you get a mini teddy. However, I believe that it is a nice place to stay with the family. If you go with people that love this kind of games, will go early, and are dinamic, you will take so much advantage of the games that would cover the $45 dollars you pay, because in other fairs one game only is $6 dollars. I am a professional local guide, I may come back to see if it improved. IG @imluzcusi

The fair was nice. Great food, vendors and rides. The hassle to get in was ridiculous. Do not buy your tickets online. If you do, ask for a manager and have a receipt ready..

I have been coming to this fair for years and years and for a long time. I love fairs in general so I'm a little biased already. It's a fun time. Tickets were online only and the process was easy. You have the option of entry fee and/or a wristband that gets you unlimited rides. The entrance and intial part of the fair is mostly food and the crowd attractions. Pig racing, dirt bike show, Magic etc. The rides were past that along with the standard fair games to win prizes. Most of the staff I encountered were all very nice. It's a great way to spend your day.

This "state fair" sucks LOL This is the type of fair I use to have at the neighborhood park growing up, not a county fair and definitely not a state fair. There's no music, no free concerts, no livestock, NO BUTTERCOW (hey iowa state fair), NO BIG TEX (hey Texas state fair). It's such a rip off for $41 a person. More over the ride operators don't check to see if you're strapped in correctly ON ANY RIDE. Why are they there then? Lol save your money I heard the one in Suffolk County is waaaay better

I paid 12 bucks for a Gatorade from the Greek food stand. Unbelievable! I'll probably never attend again.

My husband, 7yr old and I enjoyed the fair this year more than previous ones due to it not being that crowded in my opinion. We went on a Wednesday night after our original date for Tuesday ended in the fair being closed due to the weather before we even got in. There was some nice staff working along the fence who advised our tickets will be good for any other day of the fair.My only complaint was that on the biggest ferris wheel the attendant had 2 other persons join in with our family in the car. I found that odd since they had signs everywhere saying to practice social distance and not to mention this is the first time I've seen this done in any fair/amusement park setting.

Honestly, I give this a 3/5. The rides were really fun, but the food is really overpriced. A small funnel cake cost me $8.00. I suggest before you go have a big lunch if you’re going to stay for long, also.. I suggest getting the second pack, because the lines are super super long. Also tip, don’t waste your money on the win a prize games because half of the time you don’t win, but overall I give this a 3 star.
