I have 12 years experience with the East Rutherford NJ branch
The tellers are great , fast and courteous but
the account managers ( the one sitting behind desks) are incompetent and slow . It took them 4 weeks and 5 visits to the branch to to set a simple ACH ……
I still use the tellers the safes and the bill pay system personally and they are top tier , but moved my business accounts to Chase

1 guy working the customer service desk on a Sunday. 2 hour wait times. All this furniture, no employees to use it. 🤡🤡🤡

Do not go to this branch of TD bank. I went there 2 weeks ago l was on vacation. I don’t live in the us and l spoke with a rep at his desk to add a new phone number to my account. When l got home to my country the number isn’t on the account and because l tried so many times to add the number it put all my zelle transaction on hold my external transfers also and to my surprise after l called the bank and verified l made those transactions the next day my online banking was locked for fraud by the fraud department.
I don’t live in the us when l called no one can help me at the call center they kept saying call a branch when l call this branch because they caused the mess the manager is telling me there is no evidence of anyone accessing my account at their brunch. l had to tell her well your cameras have record of me being there. Now they are saying l have to come back to the us in person to verify my identity to access my own money.
The manager has a nasty tone she isn’t very nice to deal with and if the rep did his job l would not have this inconvenience. He also has a bad attitude at his desk as if l was bothering him asking to update my account. These ppl are heartless. Its very costly for me to travel back there just to do this with a 10 month old and the bank never notified me of any flagged transactions to verify l had to call to confirm l did it and still got blocked. This is the worst bank worst experience. Especially at this branch. What if l was on vacation and this was my only means of funding l would be stranded and stuck with no money.
They have nothing in place for international clients why allow ppl to open accounts. Please don’t open an account with this bank if you live outside of the USA they don’t care about you and the staff won’t help you. Every phone number l gave to be verified as well they are saying they can’t use and it’s number with my name on it from the US. Something is wrong with they system and l unfortunately have to pay the price.

Has been banking with them for a while. Noticed that I was charged monthly maintenance fee on my account last few months. So went in person right away. The representative explained that I had enough in the account and should not be charged a fee. He guaranteed that he will refund all four months if charges but will take up 3-5 days. So I left it at that. Checked again and noticed only 2 months were refunded not 4 charges.
It’s 25.00 each month for maintenance. Went today and was told no that’s not possible. Also heard the manager made a comment that “then she should have came in sooner”.
What kind of service is this? Did you look at my account. Did you talk to h to he person who took care of my issue last visit?
She just assumed.
Hey it’s not a lot of money. But if I was told I had enough not to be charge the maintenance fee, then this should be reversed.
They don’t care if you somewhere else.
Basically I was given that impression
So do not go to this bank.
This is not the first time I had a negative experience here.

I DO NOT RECOGNIZE THIS TERRIBLE PLACE, I had an account for a year and without having a single argument against me they closed my account, the explanation was that TD does not want to do more business with me, anyway, don't go there, save yourself some bad times

Horrible bank. My husband had a loan account there. He passed away and I went to report it, with as many documents as I could. They said they would help and uploaded the documents but they actually did nothing.Then I went to another td bank. Same thing.Now I went to another td bank but didn't have one document. And they claim its not in their system.Horrible bank across the board.

I just had the worst experience compared to any time I've been to a TD bank, let alone a bank in general. Upon attempting to use the drive through, my husband and I were given the most terrible attitude from one of your employees for absolutely no reason. We were simply shifting through credit and debit cards (I have multiple green cards) and confirming we would be putting the correct one in the chute and your employee who was serving us from the window and speaker immediately became irritated and gave us so much attitude and went as far as to put their face into their hands in frustration. My guess is that it's because it was around 5:30PM while we were doing this and the store was closing in half an hour? I'm not sure but if someone has such a short fuse and no patience then they simply should not be in customer service. And then to add to it, we were immediately turned off by this so we decided to just pull around and park and walk in to use the ATM and this person saw me through the glass doors and continued to put their face in their hands and make gestures of frustration towards me. The person I'm referring to was wearing a Freddy Krueger-like top (red and brown horizontal striped long sleeve) and had a shaved head in the back but long on top and wearing it up in a bun. Ultimately unsure of their gender. Sir/ma'am if you read this, please either work on your attitude or look into something other than customer service

Waiting on line? two agents at the front desk then my turn agent # 1 walks away not nice, then 2nd agent gave me a hard time even though i was there the day before. Thank you TD bank bad service ( may be time to look for another bank).TD Bank East Rutherford NJ.9:33AM Sergio Soacha.
