As a dad, nothing matters more to me than knowing my child is safe, happy, and loved—and the teachers from TLE in ER from Toddler B group, Ms. Mellany and Ms. Melinda have completely earned my trust. From day one, they’ve gone above and beyond to create a warm, nurturing environment that feels like a second home.
They don’t just watch the kids—they engage with them, teach them, comfort them, and cheer them on through every little milestone. I’ve watched my toddler grow so much socially and emotionally, and it’s 100% thanks to the amazing care and energy these teachers bring every day.
It’s clear they love what they do, and as a parent, there’s nothing more reassuring than that. Thank you for everything you do—you’ve made a huge difference in our lives.

My wife and I toured a number of day care centers in Rutherford, East Rutherford and Wood-Ridge and we narrowed it down to The Learning Experience in East Rutherford and The Learning Tree Academy in Wood-Ridge. We decided to go with The Learning Tree Academy ONLY because it is blocks from my job. With that said, I would like to say that The Learning Experience is great and Diana is AWESOME! Her tour was first class and she was the only person out of all of the day care centers that we visited, to follow up with us. She is a ROCK STAR and The Learning Experience is lucky to have her as a face of the center. Anyone would be happy bringing their baby to TLE.

I’ve put one child through the ranks and currently have one child still attending TLE of East Rutherford. The quality of care, early education and transparency is everything you could want from an early child development center.
Quality of care: There is at least two staff attending each class or infant care rooms. The teachers/care givers are on point when it comes to feeding time, diaper changes and hygiene (Child cleanliness). The staff at this school also does everything in their power to maintain a high standard of sanitation to prevent germs being passed around.
Early Education: The staff is always engaged in some level with the kids on an educational development level. They start the education process very early on; starting in infant care. Helping to start with walking early, sign language, how to interact with objects and etc. This continues and advances all through to pre-k. This has given my 1st child a significant advantage when she started kindergarten.
Transparency: The staff at this school works with the parents on everything and openly communicates any issues that you child maybe experiencing.
Tuition: The tuition at TLE is the only caveat. The cost to send one child is very expensive. Two or more, the tuition can rival a mortgage. Which is why I'm giving four stars instead of five.
Overall, my first kid had an amazing experience in her five years attending. My 2nd child is having the same experience. I do strongly recommend TLE of East Rutherford for your children.
Thank you to Director Maritza Ferreira and Assistant Director Diana Coyotl. I see them every day and have daily conversations with them about my little ones daily events and development past and present. They have also worked with me tirelessly with many issues to help with my children’s development. These two individuals deserve a lot for their dedication and hard work

As a first time parent, navigating the early years of parenting was both exciting and overwhelming. Thankfully, the staff at TLE made all the difference. From the very beginning, they were there to guide us - not only offering support, reassurance and genuine card but without judgement.
Though my children have since graduated, I often reflect on those formative years and the lasting impact that Ms. Maritza and the incredible team of teachers had on our children. Maritza, Tina, Dorothea, Maria, Diana, Gabby, Cindy, Arti, Dorothea, Tina and Taynaya (to name a few) made me feel like my children were in safe, competent, and in caring hands.
My favorite thing about this group of teachers was that they led with love, patience and purpose. They didn't just care for our children, then believed in them and instilled that value in them (also while being educators which helped my kids excel in grade school!!). They were so understanding and encouraging, my children still speak so fondly of their time at TLE. We are forever grateful for the impact these teachers made on our lives and hope you give them a chance to help guide your child through their early years.

My 2-year-old son has been coming here for the past year and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The daycare is clean, filled with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials! Love the daily app updates and photos throughout the day. The staff members are fantastic always have warm hearts and forever patient with my son. OverallI highly recommend this center !

We heard about this daycare through a friend (all 3 of her amazing kids go there) and did a tour with Miss Diana, who made us fall in love with the place even more! Our experience has been exceptional! The teachers are incredibly caring, always ensuring that my child feels safe and loved. The environment is warm, clean, and inviting, with lots of activities that foster creativity and learning. I’m confident that my child is in great hands every day.
I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Maria and Ms. Cindy! From the moment we started at Toddler A group, these Ladies have been an absolute blessing to our family. They are patient, kind, and genuinely care for each child in their class. My child has flourished under their care, showing great improvements in both social skills and early learning milestones. I love how they engage with the children, making learning fun while ensuring they feel safe and supported. Also, they are always attentive to my child's needs and keep me updated with progress reports and photos. We feel so fortunate to have such a dedicated, loving teachers for our little one! And a big shoutout to Maritza and Diana. I appreciate how approachable and open they are. Communication is key, and they excel at it.
Overall, an amazing place for your little ones!

I couldn’t be happier with the East Rutherford TLE center! They not only provide exceptional care for children but also foster a well-rounded learning experience. Ms. Melanie is incredibly sweet and nurturing, and her genuine care for the little ones truly shines.
We absolutely loved the Picture with Santa event—it was beautifully organized, with thoughtful activities for the children, and the center looked amazing. We feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for our toddler.
Ms. Maritza and Ms. Diana are always approachable and responsive, addressing any concerns promptly and kindly. The facility is immaculate and feels incredibly safe. Overall, we absolutely love everything about this place!

We’re so happy with The Learning Experience. Our son has thrived in their nurturing and supportive environment. The staff is caring, attentive, and truly invested in each child's growth. The facility is clean, safe, and full of engaging activities that keep our son excited to go every day. We love getting regular updates and knowing he’s in great hands. Highly recommend!

We sent our little one to The Learning Experience when she was about two years old. After visiting numerous daycare centers, we chose TLE for three main reasons: everything was bright and clean, the staff were courteous and friendly, and there was a wide range of diversity among the students and teachers. Even though our little one had a rough first few weeks, the staff were patient and guided us through until we found the right routine for her to follow. Now, we cannot be any happier that we chose TLE! It is clear how much our daughter is learning from her time at The Learning Experience. She looks forward to going to TLE every day and always has a smile on her face when we pick her up. On top of it all, TLE hosts a variety of holiday events that we all look forward to. The center also has a parking lot to make drop-off and pick-up much easier than other centers without that convenience. We want to thank TLE for everyone, especially Ms. Maritza and Ms. Diana, who has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome!

I would like to extend many thanks to Ms. Tina and the Learning Experience. Ms. Tina challenged my son and nurtured him from the first day he stepped into her classroom. I am so happy Ms. Tina was my son's teacher. I wish he had her the entire time he was at the learning experience. She has differentiated her instruction to meet and exceed my son's abilities.In September, he will be going to public school for Pre K 3. Thomas is working at above a 3 year old level. I am so excited to meet with his teacher and let them know to differentiate his work to challenge him as his academic abilities go above and beyond a 3 year old class. This is all thanks to Ms. Tina. She has given my son sight words, he is already doing dipthongs and other skills way above a 3 year old level.I am a teacher, so I am aware of all of the academic and social emotional well being for the children. Ms. Tina has exceeded my expectations for my son's well-being both academically, socially and emotionally. She has welcomed Thomas into her class as her own.We will miss Ms. Tina and the Learning Experience next year. Thank you for taking care of my baby and loving him as my family does. Thank you for nurturing him and helping him to grow. Thank you for challenging him and supporting him to be the best he can be academically, socially and emotionally. We will miss you! I am excited for Thomas to embark on his public school journey with the foundation he has had from The Learning Experience. The Learning Experience at East Rutherford is phenomenal! The Director, Maritza, and Assistant Director, Diana, go above and beyond to make your child feel welcomed and a part of the TLE family from the moment you step in the door. The staff consistently develops engaging, age appropriate, and innovative social, emotional, and learning experiences that are both fun and educational. The before care opportunity (a little bit extra $ but totally worth it if you have an early morning commute to make!) is incredibly convenient and allows my child to interact with other children he wouldn’t otherwise get to see. They have several childcare options that can meet the needs of your family and are happy to work with you to provide an all-around top tier experience for your child(ren). Most importantly, my child absolutely loves going to TLE every day and is always so happy to come home and tell me all the great things he got to do with his friends- couldn’t ask for anything better!

As I'm sure many parents are, we were nervous about sending our child to daycare as an infant. But when we toured TLE at East Rutherford, we were won over by the thorough staff and how happy all of the children were in all classrooms. Since then, we feel safe continuing to send our child here and appreciate the care everyone gives. The owner Al and his family, Maritza, and Diana are fantastic directors who meet us where our child is in terms of individual needs/allergies and are always willing to advocate wherever they can. Our child has graduated through several classrooms now and we are always impressed with the teachers' individual attention, classroom management, and communication. It still amazes us that they are able to take so many pictures and keep notes on everything that is going on throughout the day that goes straight to our phones in real time. New security doors have been installed and everyone is on top of safety. The cherry on top is that our kiddo often doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. Thank you TLE East Rutherford! Please keep up the great work and we appreciate everyone's commitment to the children.

My children have been going to TLE East Rutherford since September and it has given me so much peace of mind knowing they are in amazing hands. Everyone that i have come in contact with has been very supportive, caring and loving. It feels like I have left my children with family. Not only does everyone look out for the children, I've had several staff members ask me how i was doing. Thats something i truly appreciate.

I just love love love this daycare. My son started daycare here at 13 months and he is currently 20 month old. I was pretty worried when he started since he never attended daycare before that, but the teachers were SO loving and sweet to him. I swear he doesn’t want to come home he has so much fun. He has learned so much in the last few months, from sign language, sitting at a table to eat and even saying “please” (which is so cute). The little things really make a difference, they are very affectionate toward him, all the teachers know his name (even outside his own classroom) and everywhere you turn there are smiles. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to put my son here at The Learning Experience.
