Extremely disappointing experience – beware before you book here.
As a mother of two young children with no one to watch them, I searched for a salon close to my home with good reviews. I called this place and explained that I wanted a haircut, coloring, and possibly permanent straightening, and that I would be coming with my kids. They said it was fine, so I arrived about an hour later.
When I got there, they quoted me $700 for all three services. Since I hadn’t had a chance to care for my hair in a long time and couldn’t come back without my children, I accepted the price.
They started with the permanent straightening, then moved on to the coloring, and finally the haircut. Because they dyed my hair after the straightening, the color didn’t absorb properly — my hair had visible patches of white, black, gray, and even orange. They noticed it themselves and kept the dye on a bit longer, but eventually washed it out, saying they couldn’t leave it longer and that I should come back in about 10 days for a touch-up to avoid over-processing my hair.
After several hours in the salon, I was exhausted, and my children were getting restless, so I left without carefully checking my hair in the mirror — after paying over $700.
About 10 days later, my child had an accident with hot water and needed care for nearly two weeks. I couldn’t leave them and had no one to help, so I ended up calling the salon 28 days after my appointment. I explained my child’s accident, the reason I couldn’t return earlier, and reminded them that the coloring had failed and they had promised to fix it.
The owner’s response was shockingly rude: she told me she wouldn’t do it for free because my roots had grown out. I explained that I didn’t need my roots touched — only the areas that had never taken the color. She said she was busy and would call me in an hour.
That was a year and a half ago. She never called, and I never went back.
I’m writing this review now because I recently saw another customer’s review describing almost the exact same experience. That made me realize this is not an isolated incident but a pattern. People deserve to know the truth about this place.

I would like to give zero star here I spend $700 for hair straightening I live in New Hampshire I was there for small trip so I went there for permanent hair straightening on the call they said it’s gonna be between 300-350 dollars. Which I don’t mind.they want me to do deposit $250 which is ok for me but when I reach there they told me it’s gonna be $700. I was confused because she was like if I don’t take this service I’m gonna loose my deposit so I prepare my mind to just take this service & pay whatever she asked for ($700). When she was almost done she was like may be your hair bounce back you should need to use little bit blow dryer for straightening. I was shocked. Why should I need to use blow dryer after I spend $700. She didn’t tell this things before. Really awful service. After 3 days I called here & I told her my hair is like this she was like you can come I can fix but why I’m wasting my time again here she didn’t tell me this things may be happened. I was not aware of this. At this time I was in New Hampshire so I was not able to go there so she was like whenever you come I can fix your hair anytime no problem. When I was able to go I called her she didn’t answer so I text her she didn’t response well so I just asked her let me know if you are able to fix my hair or not . She said “NO” . So yaaa thanks for wasting my time & my money ($700).

Rude staff, worst service. Pushy sales people. Smelly and dirty restrooms and not maintained the place well. I had a disappointing experience. The facilities were dirty and poorly maintained, with hair and dust covering the floors and equipment. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, with a clear lack of customer service skills. The hairstylist seemed uninterested in my needs and failed to deliver the style I requested. The cut was uneven, hated it.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!The worst experience I've EVER had in the 15 years I've come here! The girl that was there this morning (Tahira's daughter) was nasty, rude, cursing and threatened me and my son!!!!! Disgusting treatment and language. I will never go back!! Tahira and the rest of stay are amazing; however, the experience today was beyond disturbing!!!

Tahira did my hair and makeup for a special event and everything turned out soooo well. My makeup lasted all evening, even after 2 hours of dancing, that I almost didn't want to take it off at night. My hair was very beautiful as well. Everyone gave compliments and I was sooo happy. Thank you Tahira!

Fabulous place and Tahira does an amazing job! Staff is super friendly! Had my hair highlighted and cut as well as eyebrows shaped and dyed. was able to repair all prior damage from prior highlights and rubber bands from mask use. She is amazing! She takes her time and isn’t happy until you are happy! This is my 2nd visit & she outdid my 1st visit! Don’t hesitate-book your appointment now!
