“I purchased a Blomberg fridge from Eatontown several years ago. No issues with the fridge until this past week, when we found a LOT of water under a drawer in the fridge. We thought the defrosting drain was clogged. We were given a date a couple of days out - which I requested. I was told I'd get a call the day before telling me what number I was in the queue for the next day. And on the day of, I would get a call a half hour before my visit.
All went according to plan. Carlos came and took the fridge apart to check the issue. It turned out we had installed a bad water filter, and it was leaking! Which is something the water filter reviews said might happen -- but why would I think we'd experience that!?
The fridge was installed/put together by our kitchen design/installation team a couple of years ago. We didn't touch it after they did the install.
In any case, we talked with Carlos about some issues we were having with the door not closing properly and food defrosting, which we thought was a design flaw.
When Carlos put everything back together, he showed us how to move the inside shelves and door shelves around, and which shelf should be where. He showed us how magnets actually keep the door closed. He told us the fridge temperature was set too low.
Bottom line - he taught us about our fridge. And once he showed us the proper placement of the shelves, the issue of the door not closing/food defrosting went away.
The bad water filter was something I probably could have figured out on my own -- but having Carlos come and teach us about our fridge was well worth the time and money spent on his visit.
Very happy with our experiences with Eatontown, and we will definitely purchase other appliances from them in the future.
