The associate at the door told me they don't have the iPad mini on display after I told him I was there to buy one.Then he told me best buy does not stock it in the store because it is not a high volume item, so I asked him to check the inventory of a nearby store and discovered his store had them in stock.Why do they give the wrong information without checking the computer first?I almost did not get the gift in time for the holidays!

I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent Best Buy order. I purchased a game system online, only to find it was at a store 118 miles away. This led to over $20 in tolls and $35 in gas expenses. Upon reaching the store, the manager claimed corporate canceled my order without prior notice.Attempting to resolve this, I contacted corporate customer service, only to face more frustration—being put on hold and eventually hung up on. The representative suggested reordering when the item is back in stock, an unacceptable response.The lack of communication between the store and corporate, along with misinformation, highlights a flaw in Best Buy's internal processes. I also suspect an employee may have canceled my order to obtain the item personally, raising serious integrity concerns.This experience has eroded my trust in Best Buy's ethical standards. I strongly urge them to address these issues promptly. Until then, I'm hesitant to recommend Best Buy due to mishandling my order and inadequate support in resolving the matter.

I called this store to find out if they had any Sony Playstation 5's in stock and was told there was one left. I stated I was on my way into the store and asked if it could be set aside for just a few minutes. I was not expecting this to happen but thought I would try. The sales person was very good and convinced me I could pay over the phone through a sent link. This would ensure I could pick it up at this location today and would be "much faster" for some reason. I arrive at store and wait in line for several minutes. I was told that the order had not been filled yet and I would get a email letting me know my product was ready for pick up. About two hours past and I called the store with my receipt information and got a automated response saying my order was cancelled. I waited for a rep and was told the transaction did not go through and that is why my order was cancelled. I saw that Bestbuy hit my checking account for over $500. I do now see a receipt and it looks like I have in fact been refunded but it has not been indicated on my balance as of yet. My complaint like this review is that they made this whole process entirely complicated. I am no stranger to online purchases and ordering. I am not upset I paid through link instead of directly at the store. I am upset I had to call to follow up before I knew my order was cancelled. Also the rep I got when trying to resolve this would not let me speak to a supervisor. As a customer I was failed through waste of time (including this) and loss of product I was seeking.

Staff was very helpful - was assisted specifically by Kyle. Needed a new charger for my work computer before my daily meetings started. He had me in and out of there with a perfect solution (and accompanying explanation).
