Its wild to me they can't look up a purchase if you lose a receipt and don't have a phone number even though you can tell them when you were there and show them the charge on your credit card. I tried to return a tool because I purchased the wrong thing and they told me there was nothing they could do. Should have gone to home depot.

The manager is always friendly and helpful. Knowing what items to select and doing some research is the key to shopping here effectively. I've gotten some great deals for tools and supplies.

Harbor Freight is like walking around in your grandfathers garage…some really great stuff and some stuff you cringe at and move on. I have found myself there 5 - 6 times a month looking for stuff. As a weekend wrencher, their basic hand tools fit my needs perfectly.

I really didn't like this store. Number one, it smelled weird, like burnt plastic. They didn't have anything I needed. I ended up going to Home Depot. I only gave it a try because my dad loves to go to here. I guess if you needed a basic tool very cheap, it would be the place for you. But nothing looked very well made. I feel like you would buy something for 1/3 the price and then have to rebuy it at another store for full price, at a better quality. I gave it 2 starts because the staff tried to help me find what I was looking for and when they didn't have it, suggested I go to either Lowes or Home Depot.

Great prices on a wide variety of tools and parts you may or may not need. Always a good inventory. Employees are helpful when you need to find something. My first place to look when I may need a new tool.
