Because my local Howell, NJ branch of H&R Block was closed today, my call got transferred to the Eatontown, NJ branch where I spoke with Andrea Esposito. Rather than simply pass the buck since my normal tax advisor was not available, Andrea took the time to answer the questions he was able, which required timely response. I really appreciated this going above and beyond! Thank you Andrea!

I had a great experience. Marisa was very kind and professional. James was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. It was nice to have someone else do my taxes instead of myself lol! Will be returning next year to file again

While we are 10 year customers of HR block we won't be returning after how rudely we were treated and how little clarity was given to us. Our filer never reviewed what he was doing, didn't go through all our documents with us, and kicked us out without completing our return because he had another client and "his computer wasn't working" and "there is no tech support".

The preparer was sloppy and switched my elderly parents SS number with the deceased spouse’s SS number. It wasn’t caught until this year and now we had to spend hours on the phone with IRS after they refused to send a refund-even after we had mailed the death certificate. The office did nothing to support us with this problem that they created.

I was very satisfied with my experience at the Eatontown H & R Block Tax office. the staff was pleasant and efficient, and the setting was comfortable. my accountant was capable and did his best to understand my situation and to find maximal deductions. he seemed concerned about my needs. overall I found the time invested was reasonable, as were the fees. I left the office with peace of mind that my returns were completed properly and expeditiously. I highly recommend this operation. BTW I did start with their software, which i found difficult to use when it came to 1099 data (investments). I'm not sure if other folks had trouble as well, but at this point I plan to go right to the office to avoid more stress and frustration. Good luck!
