I enjoy my visits to Michael's in Eatontown NJ especially their frame department. In addition to providing recommendations on frames selection whether I buy them from Michael's or not Geoffrey has been very accommodating by providing me, whenever he can with foam cushions that I've using for packing household goods in support of elderly people transitioning to nursing homes.

I went to Michael's today for the first time in a few years. And now I think I'll stay away for a few more.The lady that waited on me and that I asked a question really couldn't be bothered and had an attitude.!!! I will say that her name started with an (A) for the month of my mother's birthday. If you're bored with your job or if you hate it you shouldn't really take it out on customers! My friend that I was with also noticing this ladies attitude. I have been in retail customer service for 45 years this year. Again don't take your bad day out on a customer, who was friendly laughing. Big mistake.

Found everything I wanted, including the block banks I wanted for the Grands last year. They had run out.
Staff was very helpful. Ans. all my questions ref. paint on glass.
Everything was great except the self checkout. "New" system kept saying, "It was busy." After four attempts, two with staff assistance, they finally checked me out at the register.

I went to the store to have a print framed. I paid over $100 for the project and was told that someone would call in about two weeks to tell me when to pick up. Its been almost 4 weeks and nothing. I've called multiple times and can't even connect with a manager or the framing department to get a status update. I've been hung up on a few times and also told, "they're too busy to come to the phone" I will have to drive over to talk to someone in person and perhaps try to get a refund. Customer service is terrible. I will not go there again.

Girl at the counter was sweet. Manager walking around the store was nasty. Wouldn't help me out with a price check on something just sent me away, than later when I went to go check out, she stood in my way to get to the register and when politely said excuse me she huffed and puffed and still hardly moved out of the way. Get new management.
