Parking is terrible! Not enough handicap parking Christmas shopping this year at bath & body was the worst.No gift sets available just put together bags ,definitely worst than last year had to return items which I never had to do before.If it gets better next year ill update review but until then it only gets 2 stars.

My husband was racially profiled in this store a 2nd time by the same staff, Ms Morales. My husband went into our local Edgewater store to return a candle that was recently purchased by him a few weeks ago. He mentioned to Ms Morales that he didn’t have a receipt but could provide the card used with the original purchase and he only wanted to exchange the candle. She very adamantly stated he couldn’t do it and took the candle from him and placed it behind the counter. My husband left the store and called other stores and Corporate to find out that the return would be accepted. It was Ms Morales that wasn’t allowing the return.He had other staff help him and ended up finding his previous purchase and helped him with the simple exchange and now he found a candle that he loves pictures below.The 1st incident happened with Ms Morales in 2019 and corporate had recall of this. Not only was this embarrassing but it makes us want to take our business elsewhere. He could’ve simply walked out and disregarded this issue, but this is for all the others, that she may continue to do this to that may not speak up. Ms. Morales needs to be reprimanded for this type of behavior that reflects badly on a corporate company.

Ignorance comes in all shapes and fragrances. (All pun intended) today I was racially profiled by a very unprofessional manager named miss Marisol. I came into the store to return a candle that I brought six days ago. When I entered the store today, I did not have my original receipt,but I was able to provide proof of my transaction through my iPhone Apple Pay, and it's linked to my debit card. Please note that I did not want a refund, I just wanted to swap it out for a different fragrance. I was told by the store manager Marisol, that I will not be able to return this product unless I had the original receipt or my drivers license. I explained to her that I did not have my drivers license on me. I'm just looking for an even scent exchange. She then stated to me "Well Then We Can't Complete this Transaction" and grabbed the candle that I chose to replace the item with and put it on a back shelf. I was in total disbelief. I walked out that store with shame and complete embarrassment. I had the knowledge and understanding that Bath and Body customer service motto was /return policy is 100% satisfaction with customers. I contact the corporate office and they advised me that I did not need ID or receipt as long as they could show my transaction within the last 60 days. I then returned to the store and demanded that I get a new candle without challenge. I requested to speak to the manager and she came out very visually angry and look disheveled. She stated to me "Sir did you get what you needed " and try to dismiss me. I recited to her the store policy and that I lived in this community for the last eight years. I was racially profiled, and that is the true definition at the end of the day. I got what I needed by dealing with other employees, who was shocked beyond belief with her unprofessionalism to me, in fact, the person that I brought the candles from six days ago was there today. Pleased make note the he corrected the situation without incident. This is the text book definition of being racially profiled. I give this store negative one out of five. Honest review.

If i can put more stars , i would. I came in here just for two things. gentleman said hi , asked for help. didnt needed it. super kind though, but when i was walking around and the store manager Marisol came up to me. She knew the deal. she knew what she was talking about, what i was looking for, brought me to different sections to look at more. Upsell me , i fell for it, and im not mad at all. I dont go out often at all anymore for myself. but she made my whole experience so warm and smiles . I went in there for two items, TWO! walked out with 8!! I laughed walking out of how funny it was , even called my mother . Marisol gave me such the greatest experience ever. I will never forget this moment … and that smile she brought too. Someone needs to give her the biggest raise of her life. If you go into this store, ready to spend your wallet, ask for her please, bc she will hook it upppp! god bless her!

I’d say that most of the time I go to the store I feel as though the people who are there to help me really do want to help. Only a few times have I gone when there is someone who you can see really isn’t happy to be working that day. But most of the time they’re pretty pleasant and helpful. Their products are exceptional the quality is unparalleled.

I went to the B&BW in Edgewater today. Candle sale going on. Need I say more? I had several questions and the same woman answered my questions. So polite and friendly. After I got my candles I was looking for a specific body cream. I asked the same woman. She looked several places and then apologized that they must be out of it. I asked her name. When I got to the register, I asked to speak to a manager as I wanted to give her a compliment. The young lady pointed to the woman who had been so patient and said that she was the manager. I went up to get and told her what I wanted to do and how it didn't surprise me that she was a manager. Way to go Marisol!! She made going to B&BW on candle sale day a pleasure and treated me as if I was the only customer in the store.
