If I could give negative stars, I would. This “No hidden or surprise fees” is a lie! Nothing in their pricing is transparent. I was charged $767 to file taxes and that’s with a petty $60 discount!! You’d think I was a business owner.. it’s ridiculous. I even was transferred to their support team, because no one would pick up my phone calls. And the support team member even found the price to be ridiculously high. That says a lot! Do yourself a favor, and file your taxes with an actual CPA. Unlike mine (Shelley R), who gave me a pity story about her work load and made me feel as if my situation wasn’t as urgent as anyone else’s. Clearly has no basic customer service skills. Glenn, her supervisor, said I didn’t have to pay if I didn’t like the price. What?! What kind of inhumane behavior is he trying to advertise?! He also tried to give me an incentive for next year’s tax filing. What makes you think I would file any of my taxes after this scam-feeling non-transparent fees of an experience I had?! So crazy.Crazier part is that they tried to remove my review.. says a lot.

Wow! It was a super easy experience and I don’t regret my decision at all. My taxes were very complicated this year and I wanted to be sure they got done right. Diane was amazing, I definitely recommend this place for anyone needing help.

We have been to H&R Block offices over the years but have hit the jackpot with the Block Advisors on River Road in Edgewater. The caliber of the tax preparers is top-notch and the entire office staff is professional and personable. We especially love our tax advisor Tatyana, who consistently does a FABULOUS job for us over the past few years. No exaggeration: Tatyana and the office makes tax prep about as painless as you can get.Now, where to spend our refund....?

Review for our tax preparer, Mr. Jay Kato. He has been doing our taxes for a while now, and highly recommend him. He's very organized, thorough and prompt. And, that's important because we had another tax preparer previously at H&R Block (in Texas) who was sloppy, and we wound up paying much more than needed. My background is in tax law, but I still rely on his expertise on our tax returns. Highly recommend : 10 tax refunds
