I can always find what I need, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I always enjoy shopping here. Definitely my go-to store for party supplies and last-minute finds. “This 99 cent is best the in central ave. The guys that work there are very professional and kind. There was an older woman there who started following me and my family around the store knowing not knowing are regular customers. ( guess she was new cause I never seen her before ) We always shop there for bubble wrap for my business or detergent since our laundromat is right next door from it. But other than that it’s very organized. I like it there. Small but have everything you need”

“I'll keep this one short for now, but when I get out to the Whitepoint Shopping Center, MTA buses regardless, I can easily do a happy mission picking up stuff at Dollar General, a couple of storefronts over to Dollar Tree, a welcome march a little bit aways down hill to Shop Rite College Point, then a short jaunt across the parking lot to Target College Point...
Yeah, a lot, it seems like... heh!
And although the Shop Rite is pretty much the only one that I actually know is really reachable to me, anyway I easily get treated better here than at DG Astoria and DG Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn/Queens borderline, I'll get back to that another time...
Long story short, super courteous, always well stocked, don't get the Shopping While POC here, (yea!) and also great TLC at DG at Gates Ave and Seneca Ave (B/Q?!)... Definitely worth the time, effort, and trip regardless of MTA...
I didn't want to creep out the nice cashier lady but appreciated the courtesy and I told her about the craptasticly mixed feelings that I actually got from the other spots...

“This place has been here for a couple decades. They are always pleasant and welcoming. They carry a variety of household necessities, decorations, small appliances, undergarments, personal hygiene products, toys and gift items. They even have some beautiful plants. They have clothing and house shoes. There's honestly too much to list here. You have to check your bags in but don't be offended, so many stores in the area have had to close due to incessant shoplifting.”

They have a wide variety of household necessities, person necessities, decorations, and bedding. They have storage solutions for food and personal items. They also carry luggage and duffle bags. There are some food items and snacks. They carry gift items as well. It's always a pleasure visiting this store.”

“Lots of items to browse from at $1.25 and up. Deals and specials from household, toys, toiletries, garments, cleaning supplies, beverages, snacks, dairy, stationary, etc. Although, this particular store was a bit messy, I can blame it on a recent truck delivery of their supplies.”
“It’s not even bad, I don’t know why people r complaining about the lines cuz there’s barely ever any lines every time I go there. the people that work there are awesome. Not a very wide range of items but I’m on a budget and what I can get, is what I can get”

“I've been to plenty of dollar tree's. This is by far the cleanest and most organized one i've been to. The staff was so helpful and patient. I came in to get 20 balloons, a task that would have been quite the hassle for a staff member to do. But Chrissy/Krissy helped me out, had so much patience, didn't complain once, and was very nice and easy to talk to. They were also very helpful over the phone. Locally, this is the only dollar tree i'm gonna go to in the future. I was pleasantly surprised.”

“When my mother was having surgery in 2020 at New York Presbyterian Hospital over there I went to that store 99 Cents of St. Nicholas while waiting for it to be done. I bought her a nice amount of stuff before my father, & I were able to go in to see her after the surgery was taken care of. A real nice amount of stuff for a real good price. “Dollar Fortune is an amazing find in Union City! This is a great store where you can find everything you need for your home, from small tools and lightbulbs to kitchenware, cleaning supplies, and linens.
It's a cheap store, and the quality is very good, especially for the price. The woman at the counter is very nice, and even though she only speaks Spanish, it's easy to communicate with her. It's worth a visit if you need something for your home.”
