I was paying with cash and total came out to $7.46. Shorter (there are tall and shorter women) Hispanic woman gave me back only $0.50 back so I asked her she needs to give me more. She ended up giving me just 3cents back which I think is ridiculous. You lose credibility by small things like this.

- huge massive rice ball- small shrimp inside and the majority is rice- you feel like you’re eating a massive rice ball- rice isn’t seasoned, so it can get bland- tons of selection on flavorsOverall, I felt like I was eating a ball of rice. The ratio to actual meat is terrible. 2 will fill you up, but on rice.

Commuting to the NJ from the mainland took around ~45 minutes, but worth heading to Mitsuwa Marketplace! Especially, during the afternoon while the onigiri being made! These onigiri were unreal, the rice didn't need to be that good. If you plan on getting 4, just save yourself any regrets and double your order. Also, if wondering what to order, at least pick up one spam musubi, even better just pick up two.Out of this world experience and extremely cost effective meal.

Best affordable and tasty food in Mitsuwa Food hallLocation: Inside the large Mitsuwa supermarket has a ton of seatingFood: My favorites are spam, shiso, and mentaiko. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon are also solid optionsService: They are very efficient and check you out quickly. I also like the karage on the side with the rice balls.Sum-up: Solid inexpensive option at Mitsuwa for lunch or a snack.

So good, but they need to keep the mentaiko in stock - they're always out and it's the best. The spicy shrimp or chicken are great too. I'm only bummed they don't deliver!

Excellent onigiri place that I visit every time I go to Mitsuwa. Ever since this place opened up they have been fantastic. I highly recommend the mustard green onigiri, the nori and plum onigiri, the mushroom onigiri, and the kombu onigiri. Those are my favorites. I don't think onigiri is a food that everyone will like, but I can't imagine anyone not liking this place if they like onigiri. I love onigiri, and this is some of the best I've ever had, and the portions are very generous.

Huge musubi/onigiri! The best flavor I tried was the spam and egg. The others were also tasty, but the shrimp inside was a little small. They were freshly made and even better warmed up if you brought them home to eat. They're cheap and filling - you can make a meal out of these. They were pretty busy taking orders, so I came back when it calmed down a bit while I waited for my food from another vendor.

I had recently visited Mitsuwa and decided to stop by Omusubi Gonbei. I have always seen this in the back corner of the food court area but have never tried anything there. So we grabbed a few to try- we had ordered spam musubi, the bomb, and shrimp tempura. They have such a great selection and they all look good! Service was quick and they packaged our order. Omg they all were all delicious! I cannot wait to go back again!

Delicious onigiri located in Mitsuwa Marketplace. It's always a staple to get some on the way home; we got the chicken karaage, kinoko and eel. Absolutely delicious and an awesome pick me up. They never disappoint, I promise you that.
