I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Party City's Edgewater location. I had arranged for balloon delivery for a special event, paid for it, and even included a cash tip for the delivery personnel in advance. However, things didn't go as planned.On the day of delivery, the balloons didn't arrive at the promised time. When I called the store to inquire, I was informed that they couldn't dispatch the delivery because my order was apparently 'not in the system,' despite having a scheduled delivery and a receipt for my payment. This was not just inconvenient but completely perplexing. And they didn’t even call me. I had to call them and ask why my delivery is not coming.To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, I was told that it wasn't possible as the order couldn't be located in their system. It was suggested that I contact their general customer service number to sort this out, a process that seems unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming for a mistake that was not mine.Throughout this ordeal, the lack of empathy or even a basic apology from the staff was disheartening. It felt like I was being blamed for their error and left to resolve it on my own. This is not the level of service one would expect from a well-known brand like Party City.I am extremely disappointed and would advise others to consider this experience before choosing Party City Edgewater for their party needs.

I give it a one star because I had gotten a costume thinking it will be good later when I tried it on I got hat from everyone and I wanted to return it. Turns out that they don’t take refunds and the Halloween costume went to a waste

I went to the store to order balloons for my bridal getting ready with delivery as I was promised that delivery guy will deliver balloons to my room.when the day came for my wedding, the rude and nasty manager who talked over a customer without listening anything what a customer wants to say, repeatedly interrupting and raising her voice told me that the delivery in my room in the hotel won't be possible.so, my balloons were dropped in the lobby. i thought it's the whole order. NO, my order was devided on 2. so, two different delivery guys brought my order. it was very unprofessionally done. I was informed that it will be delivered on 1 order.The next step the weights problem. i was never offered to get weights for ballon's nor I was aware that i need one. as per manager,a certain delivery order that u spend money on has complementary weights. however, she refused to give us a number of balloons we need to order in order to get free weights.we asked few time and got no answer. i did not any intrest in manager's voice of selling products becuase she told us that they don't need to inform, but why? aren't the manager working in sales? ifmanager care much about ballons business than it's time to wake up and work and offer a good service to if customers and sale product, not just to be ignorant, rude and talk over people when party city obviously did a mistake.so, the first buyers of balloons should be informed or offered about the weights ? what a nonsense I must say.after all that talking on the phone, manager said i will send you compementary weights. However, they never arrived. it was a lie. the manager just wanted to get off the phone so badlg without solving their mistake. the manage told us that it's not her responsibility to inform the customer about the weight. but why are u still working in sales?by the way, next day I camedo the hotel to ask if they recieved weights, they told me that it's never arrived and there was no delivery - so, manager lied to me.there is obviously customer service problem at this place. plus,manager nevergave us her name.This is no justification to such action. I don't wanna hear an explanation here to justify their actions.my day was spoiled. I cant bring it back.People don't bother coming to that placewirh zero customer appreciation and customer service. they don't care much after your pay what's going to happens with your order.Stay away!!!!

Great place for all holidays and occasions from Halloween to birthdays and weddings. They have costumes, all accessories and are fully stocked year-round. If you want a Hawai'in themed party, a Vampire monster bash or a fun kids birthday this is your place. Great prices too!!

I experienced terrible customer service. The store has everything you need for a party though. Lots of balloons. Target is slightly cheaper, but has less variety of stuff. Next time I’ll probably go to Target based mostly on the customer service and cheaper price point

Carolina (I hope I spelled that right) was absolutely amazing. I have been to party city several time spending hundreds of dollars for birthday parties and she was the first one to inform me that orders over $65 is free delivery. I had 2 young kids with me alone and this not only made my trip today fast and painless but also the day of the party I don’t have to worry about anything. She also stayed with me and helped me pick out other balloons to include in a bundle and ran back to the isle to try and find other balloons for me. Her customer service is amazing. Party city, this employee is a great image for your company. Please take care of her!

Xmas Eve it is 7 degrees- these poor employees are freezing inside the store because there's no heat. That's insane!! The employees still had their holiday spirit on display and we're very helpful - the employees get 5 stars!!
