It was the best sushi place around here and was my favorite. I ordered a tuna roll today, and I realized they replaced the tuna with a processed canned fish puree! It is disgusting, tastes really awful, and definitely not a sushi. Shame to lose a nice place off my list.

Visited last summer for outdoor seating. Unwelcoming reception by elderly woman at the register, then a man comes to tell us none was available, yet when we sat by the window, saw empty tables outside. Didn't make a fuss. After seated no one came around for over 20 min, to take our order or serve water even. We almost got up to leave, then the waitress comes, clueless and no apology for the wait. Pricey for average sushi, slow service and noisy. We just had 1 app, sushi roll and left. Regret not leaving earlier.

Sushi Cruise in New Jersey is a culinary treasure, and my recent visit left me utterly mesmerized. From the moment I entered, I was welcomed by an ambiance that perfectly balanced comfort and sophistication, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. But what truly sets Sushi Cruise apart is the view of the New York City skyline. The setting at Sushi Cruise is nothing short of magical. With the view of the NYC as your backdrop, you're transported to a world of elegance and charm. Whether you're dining at sunset or under the city lights, the view adds an extraordinary dimension to your meal, making it an experience you'll cherish forever. Now, let's talk about the sushi – it's nothing short of extraordinary. Each piece is a work of art, beautifully crafted and packed with flavor. The sushi here is a testament to the chef's dedication to perfection. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, making Sushi Cruise a destination for the finest sushi in the region. But what truly sets Sushi Cruise apart is not just its ambiance or its delectable sushi; it's the exceptional staff. They not only provide warm and attentive service but are also well-versed in the menu, offering recommendations and insights that enhance your dining experience.

I came here for a meeting with friends after a long time. When we arrived around 5:30 p.m., we were the only customers, but by 7 p.m., the tables were filling up. The view along the Hudson River was great. Sushi and rolls are the main menu, but you can also enjoy other seafood. The overall food style is Japanese.

The outdoor seating space has a nice view of the Hudson River, and the service was good, but the food was just average.I got the Lunch Combo Set A (fried rice, teriyaki chicken, one basic roll, 4 pieces of the special roll, salad, miso soup). For the price, I thought the portions would be a bit bigger, but there were only a few chicken pieces and a small amount of fried rice. The teriyaki chicken itself was dry, the fried rice was bland/tasteless (but the rice was cooked well), and the rolls fell kind of short. The food quality was good, but how it was all put together felt like there was something more to be desired. The eel cucumber roll that came in my lunch combo was filled with a disappointing amount of eel. The special roll we got on the side (the Edgewater Roll) seemed pretty basic too -- it was just a Rainbow Roll that only had crabmeat in the filling. It seemed too basic to be considered a "special roll." Don't think I would return. If I'm in the area again, I'll try a couple of other sushi spots first before returning.

We came to sushi cruise on my aunts birthday and it was an experience. We had an amazing time Min our waiter was so nice and knew the menu inside out. He helped us with all our questions that we had about the sushi. The food was all good and fresh! The atmosphere was welcoming!! We will be coming back.

The young man who said he was the owner was not very nice nor very understanding of the restaurant business. My wife and I ordered soup and some eel dishes. We asked for the soup first and when we finish please bring the eel dishes (eel should be served warm or hot). the soup came out and 1 minute later out came the eel dishes. We explained that if we eat the eel dishes the soup would get cold and if we ate the soup the eel would get cold. He became enraged and thru us out of his Restautant. A very, very stupid man. STAY AWAY

This was my second time at Sushi Cruise, and I was not disappointed. First, this cute little restaurant is tucked away in a big plaza. You would never know that this restaurant has a beautiful view of the Hudson River at first glance! Second, the family that works here is so polite, friendly, and attentive. The host, servers, and sushi bar all greeted us upon arriving and I felt like I was welcome. Now the food--super fresh seafood, excellent presentation, tasty, and balanced. I had the Hokkaido roll, the Tiger roll, and two pieces of salmon toro (salmon belly) which were a incredible. I can't get salmon toro anywhere else!Glad to have come back a second time, planning on a third when I'm in town again.
