I had an incredible experience, I went the day before my baby shower for a wig styling. Dropped it off and got it dyed and styled same day, I would highly recommend and it made my baby shower so special. Thank you to Jasmire who was so sweet and kind to me as well! 10/10 I would highly recommend.

Loved my results from my silk press. I normally wear my hair natural and wanted something different for my birthday. Kwanza did a great job, I will definitely be returning.

Tina Tina Tin! Her entire staff understands the assignment. I love them. I go to Tina. But when she’s booked and I refer clients to her and she can’t take them her staff does what needs to be done. Everyone I referred to this salon always comes back with nothing but good feedback.

This salon was terrible. I give it a 1 immediately. I came in for highlights, they aren’t even seen. This salon is a scam, has u paging $500 for nonsense. They don’t even know how to take care of type 4 hair. Don’t waste ur money here.

I had a wonderful first time experience with Kwanza and the salon. I have eczema so it is difficult to know which products to use. Kwanza was respectful, kind, patient and listened to my concerns. She cleaned my scalp throughly. Getting my hair and scalp steamed was a wonderful first time experience. Kwanza trimmed and styled my hair with care. I feel beautiful! I have received numerous comments about my hair over the past 48 hours. My aunt saw my hair and decided to make an appointment. My sister said that my hair looks like "doll" hair. LOL! Finally, all of the staff were professional, kind and friendly. They even offered me wine and snacks. Can't wait until my next appointment. Go Tina Pearson Salon!!!! You are the best!!! Dr. A. Exceptional service, very relaxing and beautiful salon, and I simply loved the way I was greeted and welcomed into the salon by everyone. As a first time patron of any salon, the way that I am welcomed usually determines if I will revisit. Tina Pearson had me at hello! Not to mention, my stylist Kwanza is amazing and delivered above and beyond my expectations.

Tina is a seasoned, skilled, innovative hair stylist and a master in her trade. The salon is welcoming and the staff is pleasant and professional. I have had short pixie cuts to fabulous bobs and most currently, fun summer extensions. I consistently leave satisfied.

I've known Tina most of my life when she began her hair profession I was one of her many clients. My hair styles, cuts and colors were always on point and sassy, I would leave her chair trying not to be conceded but close to it because my hair always looked so good and I felt good from the girl talk and service. I followed her from Mt Vernon, to her salon on Lexington Ave, to the current Tina Pearson salon in Edgewater, my last appointment in Edgewater I cut it all off, would not have had the courage to do it if it wasn't for Tina's encouragement and expert cutting skills. When it comes to cuts and color Tina is the only one I trust to do it, after trying others in between the years Tina is the only one I trust to get it right. Blessings and continued success Tina P.

I have had three appointments at this salon. There were pros and cons. Unfortunately the cons outweighed the pros and I will never go back there again. The things that I liked about the salon is that I ultimately walked out with a nice hairstyle, the customer service was good and the salon was beautiful ( I felt like I was having a spa day each time I went). However, there were some problems. The first time I visited things were great. I got my hair washed and talked to the stylist Erica about going on a curly hair journey. We talked about either Keratin or texturing. I was so excited I booked an appointment that day for a month in advance. When I got to my appointment a month later the stylist never confirmed the services I would be receiving that day. I trusted that she knew. After all, I made the appointment with her right after we talked about it. I was wrong. Once I realized that I was not getting the hairstyle I wanted I pointed it out. I was then told it was too late to fix the problem because my hair had already been washed. I ultimately had to make another appointment a few days later. Keep in mind that the services are not cheap. After trying to keep an open mind I went to my third appointment. My appointment was made for 3:00. My hair was not started until 4:30. I understand that things can cause a wait but the stylist/salon had my number. I am perfectly fine with being told that my appointment needed to be pushed back before I got there and interrupted my work. There is more I can say but this review is already long enough. Just do yourself a favor and find another salon.

The friendly staff, and the service was just phenomenal.
Yasmir was very nice and gentle in assisting with washing and blow drying my hair in preparation for the master stylist. Love how Tina takes her time and explains how to help maintain your hair at home and not just rush you out of her chair.
