“I switched over to this credit union from Bank of America when they were threatening to charge a monthly fee for using our debit cards. It annoyed me so much I decided I'd rather support a smaller, more family oriented banking institution. What I love about this credit union: -personalized service- people already know my name! -very old school- call in and they'll mail you a check -only $5.00 to open an account -my immediate family members can join -low as heck interest rates on car and personal loans -exempt from paying car loan in summer months because I'm in education What's not so convenient: -not as many ATM's available -outdated interent and bill pay services -when checking account online, transactions don't always post immediately I'm going to stick with them for a while and see if I can grow some patience while working on not being just another person who needs everything done for me at lightning speeds.”

“I salute everyone at MCEFCU. The flood forced changes for many incuding the CU Staff. It is easy to complain about preparedness until one has endured an untoward natural event/disaster. To be back up and running within a reasonable time frame was imppressive. As consumers, we often only see the front desk and never acknowledge whats going on behind the scenes. The services and loan rates are respectable and they keep the Middlesex County concumers in mind and in the loop. Thank you for all of the excellent service. I have and I will continue to support the staff at the Middlesex County Federal Credit Union.*Car *Personal Loans *Pay Day loan. “This is a great banking service to have right on the campus. There is an ATM here but perhaps only for account holders. The fees are reasonable but working hours are limited. As the parent of a student I can vouch for credit unions as providing better services than the major banks and unfortunately are not well known enough due to limited marketing budgets.”
