Usually I don’t go to CVS much but today I had a bad experience there. The guy in particular RAFIQ was rude and unprofessional in handling the customer. When one of the CVS associate was helping me out with biling and product information, he asked me to go to another desk and when I asked to share the CVS return policy, he didn’t had answers on that. May be he needs medical attention and training from CVS on how to deal with customers, paying attention to their needs rather than banging heads for no reason.

CVS has really gone down hill lately, I think it has something to do with whoever is managing the company. I know that they reduced staffing in the pharmacy. This led to the workers being overwhelmed, longer wait times, and THEY DON'T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE ANYMORE. They make you leave a message and tell you they will call you back, and it normally takes a while to hear anything from them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. On top of everything, they more often than not are out of stock with the prescriptions that I need. That was the last straw that led me to switch to a Wegmans pharmacy, I have to drive much further but it's worth it to not deal with this disorganized company. They really destroyed their reputation for customer service and efficiency just to save a few bucks on staffing.

Whoever the male pharmacist was today was extremely rude to me as a customer and told me he didn't have time to contact my workers Comp because he can't fill a prescription based on the amount/quantity of the prescription. When I explained to him nicely and to the Customer service lady prior to him that the location in Piscataway had no problem contacting my workers Comp and changing the amount of the prescription so that it could be filled promptly he argued with me. The male pharmacist took the phone from the female and proceeded to cut me off left and right when I was speaking, made me repeat myself after I already explained everything to the first lady, and then when I got upset because I told him that he wasn't being helpful and that I was in a lot of pain and he was making me more stressed out than needed, he then told me to watch my tone and when I explained to him the only reason I have this tone is because you keep cutting me off, he then told me he doesn't have time to contact my Workers Comp and that he'll call when he has time, which is fine, but I'm trying to explain to him that I don't know why it was so easy for the pharmacist in the Piscataway CVS to contact Workers Comp. He's saying that he has to leave workers Comp a message first and then he has to call them later. This pharmacist was incredibly disrespectful to the Customer and he also refused to give me his name and then now I'm still in pain and I have no idea as to when my prescription will be filled because he doesn't have time. Now the online system says prescription not filled Instead of "preparing" as it did before. I truly hope he's not delaying my prescription out of retaliation. By the way, the Piscataway location was like 10 times busier than this location and still managed not to be disrespectful. Absolutely unprofessional And disrespectful. To the contrary, the retail store associates actually have been very helpful and kind from my past experiences here and the store is rather clean. Seems to be that the Pharmacy and its staff is the biggest issue at this location.

I've been shopping at this CVS for more than 10 years, and the customer service has gotten increasingly more difficult and unfriendly. The front staff is fine, and very helpful. The pharmacy staff has a lot to learn about customer service.

They almost always screw up my scripts and judging from the overheard conversations they screw most of everyone else’s too. All and all this pharmacy is run pretty horribly. The worst part of it is that neither the technicians nor the pharmacists seem to give a damn.

The pharmacist handling the customers is very rude and unprofessional. They give people attitude for no reason. She literally rolled her eyes at me and was signing the whole time. She would cut me off mid sentence.

On 01/19/2025 between 10:30-11:30, I went to pick up a medication for a family member. I was waiting for it and was told 15-20 mins. Then I got a text saying it was ready to pick up. I went back and was told it was not ready because they had to correct something. It was almost 40 mins passed. I started to inquire about the status of the med. That’s okay if you explained it to me, but a male young looking assistant in the back area at the pharmacy had a terrible attitude. He told me “just be patient”. It seems he was the one preparing the med. Totally unprofessional. The pharmacist did apologize. The staff other than the pharmacist at this location needs more training.

I was at this Cvs last night. I returned again today, when I got there I asked the man at the register where to find an item and his response was “you were here yesterday what you forgot?”! Very rude like. I shouldn’t have to explain myself to this rude person why I chose to come back to this store. Really? I have never in my life been treated so rudely by an employee of a store. I suppose that’s how he should represent the Cvs Brand? Anyway I picked up my scripts and grabbed a few items went to the front register area, myself and another person in line . I waited a good 8 minutes. Nobody acknowledged me or the other person. I put the items on the counter and left. I will not be returning to this CVS. I’m absolutely disgusted and very disappointed with the unprofessionalism I was presented with. Horrible way to treat customers and I believe this man had a personal problem with me if I didn’t know any better. But for what? I’m no longer a customer, find someone else to judge and treat disrespectfully.

The gentleman working was very kind. I asked to use the bathroom and he didn’t hesitate to help me even though the store just opened up and he was busy. First class customer service. Had the items in stock that I needed and earned bonus bucks to use on future purchases. Win win
