Revising my earlier review. The maintenance is worse. The Laundary rooms are broken and machines do not function. Durham maintenance team is least concerned about issues reported as they don't own them. Multiple requests made and at the end residents are at mercy of 3rd part to fix the landary room.
Before leasing here check the landary room over the community to see how broken and the filthy state of the machines. Don't be misguided by Landry room beside leasing office and best to look at the multiple laundary room in the community to understand the real condition of the community.
For the cost and rents in the community the maintenance is pathetic

The water stopped running for no reason. no prior notice before stopping the water. Toilets can't flush. Can't shower, can't wash dishes for the past 12 hours.

Management not accommodating more Tesla chargers, even though the community has over 100 Teslas or even more. They have only 2 chargers. Wish they would be more understanding.

My experience with Durham woods Lease Management is not smooth. I had to go back and forth to get keys for earlier move in. I was ready to pay per day charges before lease date but still I didn’t get the keys. Not even a day before the lease date. The biggest disappointment is, I was told that my unit comes with carpet. But it is not and they are not willing to compensate for that. We cannot see the actual unit before moving in which is causing so much hassle. The lease management staffs wasted my time for 2 days. Not a smooth move in to share feedback.

Google does not have negative rating which i could have done for Leasing agents , these guys don’t know what they doing most of the time . Quite rude and unprofessional, Mr. Anthony , he clearly deny and give all numerous reason on giving apartment availability information or showing how can one book apartment without seeing the plan , disgusting agent.
There are 3-4 people but don’t have coordination among them. Most of time they discriminate and make fun of you as of like they are renting for free. They need to learn to be professional and stick to what they say/do.
Very disappointing experience with this community.

I lived in the Durham community for 11 years before moving out this year. While everything around and within the community was great, the leasing team was a constant source of frustration. Their service was poor, they were often arrogant, and there was a serious lack of communication, both with residents and within their own team. For instance, one team member would give one set of information, while another, Gaby, would provide something entirely different. Instead of acknowledging her team’s mistakes, Gaby would show up at our home and try to explain herself, even when her own team wasn’t on the same page.
In contrast to the previous leasing staff, who were always cooperative and helpful, this team has been disappointing. During our move-out process, Gaby’s behavior was particularly frustrating. She would show up unannounced and confront us instead of addressing the issues directly with her team or responding to our feedback properly. The leasing team as a whole has not been helpful, though the maintenance team has done their best.
Packages frequently go missing, and if you're living on the first floor, people may knock on your door even late at night. There are no security cameras installed, and the rounds made by a security guard in a car don’t seem to help much. Despite the high rent, the amenities are minimal. I recommend looking for other communities that offer better service and security for the same price.
I strongly recommend not approaching Gaby with any questions or concerns. She responds to positive comments, but when it comes to addressing critical feedback or one-star reviews, she has no answers and doesn’t even offer to meet for proper feedback.

DO NOT ever come to this place. The basic requirement in a residential society is the safety of people and their belongings. This so called community cannot provide it. I have lost many things from bicycles, to toys, to packages delivered at my doorstep. There are no security cameras, the so-called Security for the community does nothing. I strongly recommend never coming to this place.
In the reviews below no body talks about safety. Who cares about add one like customer service when the basics are not met. Sick place. I am extremely frustrated.

Great place to live! Very quiet! Affordable, and the maintenance is impeccable. The apartments are very big and spacious. Great place for kids.

Anthony was phenomenal as well as patient with my disable Godmom. He answered all of are questions and showed us the amazing model apartment home that was a ideal rental property. The brilliant person who staged the model unit did such a beautiful job. I hope that Durham Wood's become my Godmom's home sweet home. It truly has all of the bells and whistles that she is looking for in a place yo call home.

We recently moved to Durhamwoods and there were few issues that we raised to the maintenance. Eddie came from maintenance and he listened to our issue very promptly and fixed all our issues very fast. Thank you Eddie and maintenance Team!
