The line was VERY LONG. Only one cashier. You would think someone would come and help with the line. No. The other workers just walked right passed the line and act like they didn’t see the long line. Not a pleasant experience. Not to mention, there was an early woman standing on the line.

After a previous disappointing experience in this store, I was hesitant to go back, but I'm glad I did because I met an outstanding associate, Gabryella, who brightened my day. I was looking to try on a dress I saw online that was supposed to be in the store, but it turned out the store didn't have it. Gabryella found similar dresses and suggested I try them on to determine my size. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually needed an XS rather than a S or M. Thanks to Gabryella, I ordered two dresses instead of one and had a wonderful experience. She is kind, helpful, patient and does her job with a smile! She is truly a gem and deserves to be promoted.

A few months ago, I had a series of disappointing experiences at this store, including feeling disregarded by the management and staff. As a result, I chose to do all of my shopping online for quite some time.
However, just two days ago, I needed to return an online purchase and decided to visit the store in person. To my surprise, I was immediately greeted by a friendly and energetic associate, which was a refreshing change. As I browsed through the clearance section, I was helped by a cashier who was not only efficient with my return but also engaging and pleasant to converse with. I couldn’t help but think to myself, “This is a different experience.”
The following day, I returned to the store to exchange an item, and once again, I was greeted by the same associate. He offered assistance and, when I went to the register, immediately paused his work to assist me. He even apologized for the brief wait, which was only about 20 seconds. This level of care and attention truly stood out to me.
I later learned that the associate’s name was Will, and he is a manager at the Menlo Park Express Clothing Store. His exceptional customer service has certainly left a lasting impression on me. Thanks to his positive influence, I will definitely be returning to this store for future purchases.
Thank you, Will, for making such a positive impact on my experience. You’re truly a breath of fresh air in customer service.

I am giving 5 stars to a specific employee (Gabryella Arevalo) who went above and beyond to help me; meanwhile another employee I wish I had her name, all I can say is she is thin, dirty blonde hair, and was wearing glasses when I went on 1/9/2025 at 1951 who was very rude and pretty much told me to look for my own item on the computer or on the floor. Meanwhile Gabryella greeted me, and despite being busy took her time in helping me. She is an amazing employee/hard worker and deserves a raise and promotion.

I recently had a great experience shopping at Express. Let me start with, I've been in customer service my whole life, it's not easy. Long hours, sucky people, and to a degree relentless. Thank you Will for making my experience great. I didn't need help finding anything but I am sure if I had, the assistance would have been top notch. I found my items, and went to the register to pay. I was greeted with a smile and a welcome. Will had a great disposition and was friendly. I saw how he dealt with the previous customer and they were very happy and left with smiles. He helped me take advantage of a promo, and only strengthened my desire to return as a customer. He played his role perfectly and catered to the customer.

A horrible location. Short hills or bridgewater is much better. The staff at Menlo never want to help. Store is unorganized and messy.

Danyelle was very welcoming, accommodating and went above and beyond to resolve a credit issue I had with an order. She is definitely a valuable asset to the company as I believe great customer service goes a long way.

My rating is based on a average of my recent experience at Menlo Park Mall this past Sunday (8/11)..Shawn, Natalia and Neichelle were all present for the customers and understood their assignments as employees. Upon entering Natalia, was available for assistance, as she maintained the product on the selling floor. Shawn was on the cash register (the only register open,out of 4), there was only 2 customers in line including myself and the 1st customer appeared to have quite a bit of merchandise. She handled herself professionally and efficiently. As I waited, there were 3 other associates behind me in a gossiping pow-wow (which included expletives) for the duration of my waiting to be assisted. The obvious fascination with the gossip was so intense that the male associate, who left the circle momentarily, returned to the circle, with such eager anticipation, that he bumped into my phone that I was holding in front of me..at no time did any of these associates (of which one I was told was a manager)..attempt to assist at the register or any customer for that matter. None seemed to care that dropping F-Bombs in this atmosphere was out of the norm! I started writing my review before I left the store and I found another noteworthy employee, to join the excellence of Shawn and Natalia..Neichelle, who went to customers individually and offered her assistance. These ladies showed that they were available for customers and did it without hesitation. The other associates, I detailed are the reason for the downgraded rating...In the retail business, and with so many businesses closing, Express would do well to ensure that the assignment of an associate by being professional and customer service oriented is what keeps a business afloat...Express has the product and luckily for this store...Shawn, Natalia and Neichelle shined! Thank you ladies. (Side note: I made my praise of these ladies known openly, which did garner looks from the 3 associates, who were not so noteworthy..to them I say, "hopefully now that you know better, you will do better..cause you never know who is coming into your store, luckily for them I was "just" a customer..."

Went to find an outfit for a real important interview and God sent me Chelsea. She gave exceptional service. She helped me find the perfect outfit and shoes. I am very impressed because nowadays customer service is non existence. Chelsea is an asset to the store.
