Had my jeep towed there for a issue with the serpentine belt, spoke to Nick, he called me and told me it would be 2,100 to fix the tensioner broke and the bolts went into the engine block, the thermostat housing is busted it’s leaking, whole bunch of nonsense. I told him I call him back, called a tow truck, towed it to another shop, they told me you need the tensioner, and the bolts went into that broke, they backed out the broken bolt from the cover, nothing broke into the engine block, thermostat housing wasn’t busted or leaking, the tensioner was 220, the bolt was a few dollars, with labor was barely 300. That’s why this place was empty, no customers, nothing in the garage being worked on, and employees sitting in the customer area doing nothing! Crooks!

Took my car for a noise underneath. They did the breaks , changed the tires. Did not look underneath and now noise is louder. Also had a screw missing and something wasn’t done right

In 2021 and 2022, I had a good experience with Firestone for my Dodge Journey, even though their prices were quite high.
However, in the past year, my experience has been horrible. They initially told me that my alternator and other parts were under warranty, yet they still charged me a high amount for the repair. One month later, the same issue occurred, and despite the warranty, they charged me again. When I returned once more for the same issue, they charged me yet again!
This has been extremely frustrating, and I will have to go back again. Very disappointed with the service at Edison Firestone.

Not so happy with service or honesty of people offering service here , i have been to this place earlier also and did not faced such problem in past. During my recent visit advisor (lady) unnecessarily recommended diagnostic package was required when I had told them exact problem (dead battery). later when I took my car back I realized despite my regular maintenance service package they didn’t even had courtesy to top up simple windshield wiper fluid. When someone was charged for several hundred dollars for maintenance and repairs at-least you should have courtesy to do basic checks.

If I could give zero I would. They cracked two of rims and said it wasn't their fault. I didn't drive the car for a month after I got the tires and I had no problems with these rims till I got new tires. I'll never return here and I'll make sure to tell my clients to not go here either

Needed new spark plugs and coils. They even added a fuel induction service. Said that they "fixed my car" for 1.2K then after 36 hours, engine light comes on again. Ran a diagnostic myself, told them the code I got, and they still ran their diagnostic, told me the same code I told them, and still charged me again for a diagnostic fee of $127. You'd think a retest would be covered under their warranty- it doesn't. So I spent 1.3K at this place and left with an even worse engine problem.

It is an adequate place. Was much better several years ago. Not as attentive or caring and not as much effort on many of the employees parts anymore.

The person who spoke to me about my car was very rude and unhelpful. He tried to scare me into getting $2000 worth of repairs done by saying that the car would malfunction within 50 miles if I didn't do the repairs. I was supposed to drive back to Michigan from New Jersey and he said that was impossible. I did none of the repairs, was still charged $127. I had to drive back anxiously and stressed out the ENTIRE TIME. There were no problems and I could drive back to Michigan without any of the "absolutely necessary repairs". I had a horrible experience and will definitely discourage everyone I know from going to a Firestone. They said they'd follow up about my experience but never did either. ZERO STARS.

Checked online and they gave specific time appointment to realize that was not confirmed.
Store manager didn't have basic details of appointment. There out the door price is gimmick to bring customer to store, out the door price told to me online didn't includes many charges and was more than what mentioned on site.

Bad Customer care and very high price
1) Front desk associate was very cold, did not explained any details about the service, prices difference for tires , not even sharing details about the 9 point system result . They don’t provide any approximate ball mark time despite advance booking , they simply ask to wait during important office hours.
2) They provided $950 quote for tire change for my car and didn’t bothered to explain the different options for tire .
i got great quote and and explaination from costco for $540 and $650 respectively with great explanation and service .
Even Good year had great customer service and explanation and completed the service along with tire replacement along with alignment in $622
within 1 hour on the same day.
i highly recommend goodyears and costco for tire replacement because of great customer support and services.
Even the brake fluid and coolant fluid filling quote
was too high which is $270 which they quoted. Anyone can refill it using walmart fluid and watching YouTube for $20 dollar each or going to local vendor for replacing it .
If one has to pay premium price for the above service they need to save time and get good customer service. I recommend valvoline next door for quick service sitting in the car and do all service.
Unfortunately there tire rotation machine was not working after doing engine oil change, air filter and light bulb change hence had to visit Firestone but never again.

On Friday night, I made an appointment for Saturday to get car inspected and an oil change. I never received a confirmation so I went to see if I could be seen because they were busy. I made an appointment for the following day and came back.
After waiting for More than two hours, I got in the car and realized they did not change the inspection sticker. I went back in to remind them and was told that they don’t do state inspections here I told them that was the primary reason I had come to their location. Why I was not informed that inspections were not done at this facility is a mystery to me.
I drove away extremely dissatisfied.

ZERO STARS! WORST PLACE EVER. The management and employees are very rude and unprofessional. The service is the worst. I came to get my oil change and went there for my 11:15am, after almost 2 hours I went to check on my car and was told it was almost finish. After still seeing my car on the lift I ask what was taking this long and was advised they ran out of filter and send to another location for one. How unprofessional that was instead of informing your customers about this. On top of that the guy at the front desk was so rude and didn’t give a damn if you were complaining and trying to get cute talking slick out his mouth until I put him in his place. I expressed disservice and he said he didn’t care when I was expressing the poor service I was receiving. And the manager took a hundred smoke break instead of checking on the customers; he didn’t give a damn sitting in the office having fun with his employees. I would NEVER go back to the location. All of them are lazy and lack any form of customer service. This place should be shut down or new employees should be replaced.

I highly regret taking my vehicle to the Firestone located at 70 Parsonage Rd, Edison, NJ 08837, to fix my brakes. Not only was I charged for brake fluid replacement, but I later discovered that they never actually replaced it when I took my Honda Accord to DCH Honda for a check-up. As a result, I ended up paying twice for brake fluid replacement.
Additionally, they charged me for “premium” brake pads that barely lasted over a year. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I feel taken advantage of. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place; they will rip you off. The old saying “you get what you pay for” couldn’t be more accurate in this negative context. Save your money and find a more trustworthy shop.

Firestone in Menlo Park is way over priced … they charged me close to triple the price that the parts should cost .. also a few months ago I went there should of learned my lesson was over priced again and than I took it to the East Brunswick store and it was 200$ less . They don’t care about there customers in Edison Nj

My car was fixed quickly (just a flat repair), so I have no complaints about the service. However, the man tasked with handling incoming customers was not very personable. He made almost no eye contact when speaking to me. After telling me I would have to drop it off because they were busy (not a problem), I then asked if he could quickly call the Woodbridge firestone to see if they were as busy. The gentleman then sighed and rolled his eyes in response to my request. He ended up doing it anyway, but he could have left the rude reaction out of it. Younger guy, tall, wears thick framed glasses. He needs to be trained better to handle customers basic requests if that is going to be part of his job at Firestone. I get that it was near the end of a long day, and they probably have dealt with irritable customers for most of it, but I wasn't one of them and I was not initially treated with courtesy.
